NEW OPPORTUNITY FOR CARLOS TATAY IN THE GRAND PRIX OF ANDALUSIA

Carlos Tatay and Reale Avintia Moto3 will contest the third race of the season at the Jerez-Angel Nieto Circuit. After the unfortunate weekend before, Tatay will face the Gran Premio de Andalucia with the aim of recovering from the difficult second round of the season for the category.

The Valencian rider of the Reale Avintia Moto3 had an unfortunate Grand Prix of Spain, when in the first curve he was hit by an opponent and could not do anything to avoid a fall that forced him to abandon. Tatay will have another opportunity this weekend to achieve a good result that will help him to recover his sensations and thus score the first points of the season.

The Andalusian Grand Prix will start next Friday, when the first two free practices will take place. The Reale Avintia Moto3 is facing a new weekend of competition which it hopes will conclude with a positive result for the whole team.

Reale Avintia Academy 77 Moto3 – GP de Valencia – Ricardo Tormo

La lluvia ha dado una tregua hoy en el Circuit Ricardo Tormo y el piloto del Reale Avintia Academy 77, Vicente Pérez no ha perdido la oportunidad para sacar el máximo de su KTM RC250RC con el asfalto seco. Mañana saldrá en su Gran Premio de casa desde la duodécima posición de la parrilla y espera poder mejorar al cruzar la bandera de cuadros.

La previsión para la carrera a 23 vueltas de mañana es de lluvia, pero Vicente está tranquilo y cree que también en esas condiciones puede ser competitivo. Lo importante será mantenerse encima de la moto, porque como bien dice, la carrera en mojado puede ser una lotería.

Mañana a las 8:40h tendrá lugar el warm-up de Moto3 donde terminarán de afinar la puesta a punto para la carrera que, como es habitual, dará comienzo a las 11:00h.

“Hoy me he encontrado muy bien en seco y el equipo ha hecho un gran trabajo porque enseguida hemos visto la diferencia con respecto a ayer. Sabíamos que podíamos hacerlo mucho mejor y hoy lo hemos demostrado. Estoy muy contento de correr delante de toda la afición de casa, quiero disfrutar de la carrera y veremos cómo va. Dicen que va a llover seguro, así que habrá que ser pacientes y terminar, porque puede ser una carrera de eliminación.”
