Reale Avintia Moto3 and Carlos Tatay concluded the sixth round of the season for the category, the Grand Prix of Styria, in 21st position at the Red Bull Ring – Spielberg.
After achieving the 23rd best time in qualifying yesterday, Carlos Tatay managed to make a great start that made him recover five positions in the first lap, which allowed him to place 18th. With thirteen laps to go and fighting to reach the points, the Valencian rider was given a long lap penalty for exceeding the track’s limits, which relegated him to the rear positions. Despite this, Tatay did not give up and managed to cross the finish line in 21st place, less than eight seconds from the top-15.
After three consecutive races, the Reale Avintia Moto3 and Carlos Tatay will be able to rest and continue working to return stronger to the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, which will host the San Marino Grand Prix on September 11th, 12th and 13th.

“It was a complicated Sunday, in the warm-up but above all in the race I had a very good feeling, the team gave me a very good bike. But due to circumstances we didn’t qualify well yesterday, we started very far back. In the first few laps I had a lot of touches with several riders and the front group slipped away from me. I think the end of the race was positive because I got back on the bike and I think we have a good base to go to Misano. Thank you very much to the team for the work they have done and more at Misano.”
