The Avintia Esponsorama Moto3 and Avintia VR46 Academy will compete this weekend in the 13th round of the calendar, the Gran Premio Tissot de Aragón at MotorLand Aragón.
Niccolò Antonelli arrives in Spain after a superb second place at Silverstone. The VR46 Academy rider is motivated to face a new weekend and to achieve another good result that will allow him to continue climbing positions in the standings.
Carlos Tatay, who crossed the finish line at Silverstone in 10th position, lands at MotorLand Aragón with the aim of taking advantage of his good form and repeating another good performance to continue progressing.
The Moto3 riders will have their first taste of the Aragon track this Friday at 9:00 for the first free practice session of the Gran Premio Tissot de Aragón.
“We are very motivated after having enjoyed the weekend at Silverstone. We were able to make a step forward and I’m finally almost 100% recovered from my injury, so I think we can do a good job at Aragón. It has always been a track where I have been able to go fast, so we will work from the start to have a good weekend and continue the progression.”
“MotorLand Aragón is a track I really like, so I’m happy to be back here. The weekend at Silverstone was special because we got a podium in less than optimal conditions, so I’m very happy. Here, we will try to do a good job to stay as high as possible and fighting for the top five will be the goal this weekend.”
