There is no rest for the MotoGP World Championship and less than 48 hours after the end of the 2019 season, the top riders were back on their motorcycles with the aim of preparing the 2020 season.

On the first test day, Tito Rabat and Karel Abraham tested the Ducati GP19 for the first time, the bike with which they will compete next season. Tito Rabat completed 53 laps finishing 15th with a time of 1’31,775, just over second and a half from the first position. Karel Abraham completed his first day on the GP19 in 19th position completing a total of 47 laps and setting a time of 1’32.034, +1.871” away of the reference.

Today. the Reale Avintia Racing Team riders have been able to continue with their adaptation to the GP19. Tito Rabat finished 12th, riding a total of 63 laps and set a best time of 1’31,258 +1,409 ” from of the best time. Rabat leaves Valencia satisfied with the work done in these two test days and the performance of the Ducati GP19. The Catalan rider hopes to continue improving the sensations in the next Jerez test to take a qualitative step for the 2020 season.

Karel Abraham, meanwhile, finished the second day of testing 17th setting a 1’31.597 at +1.748” from the reference.

Next week the Reale Avintia Racing Team will continue working towards the 2020 season during the tests that will be held next week at the Circuit de Jerez.
