The Reale Avintia Moto3 started the Andalucia Grand Prix on the right foot after completing the first two free practice sessions at the Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit.
The morning has begun well for Carlos Tatay. The Valencian rider set the sixth best time in the first session, staying only three tenths of a second behind the first position, obtaining a best time of 1:46.292. In the second free practice, Tatay finished in 20th position after spending the day working on used tyres for Sunday’s race.
Tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. the third free practice will take place, where Carlos Tatay will fight to enter directly to the Q2. The qualifying will start at 12:35.
“It was a very positive day and from the beginning I felt very comfortable with the bike. The changes we made in the warm-up last week have paid off and now we have to wait for tomorrow. We have a good feeling, a good rhythm and I think we can do well. Let’s keep working, don’t lose our mentality and see what we can do.”
