The Avintia Esponsorama Racing Team has finished the Grand Prix of Andalusia. Xavi Cardelús achieved a magnificent 10th position after a full weekend for the Andorran rider and Eric Granado finished 13th after being challenged by an opponent with two laps to go.

The Brazilian rider, who set the fourth best time in the e-Pole, had a bad start that cost him three places. Granado has started a great comeback that he has not managed to finish. With three laps to go, the driver from Sao Paulo has managed to move up to the second position and in the attempt to catch up with the leader, Matteo Ferrari has ruined his career after running him over in turn 6. Despite the bad conditions of his Energica Ego Corsa after the strong crash, Eric Granado has managed to finish the race adding three points.

In his second race in the category, Xavi Cardelús has finished in the points section for the second time in a row after his 14th position in the Spanish Grand Prix. The Andorran rider, after completing a race with a steady pace, has added six more points to his tally thanks to crossing the finish line within the ‘top-10’.

On September 13th, the MotoE World Cup will return to action at the Gran Premio di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

“Completed the second weekend in Jerez with a tenth position. Happy with my first two MotoE races, although the difference last Sunday has cost me more in the race, it has been harder to follow the riders ahead and keep up with me. But happy for the weekend overall and looking forward to the next race”

“The start was quite bad, I lost a lot of positions in the first corner. Then in turn 6 I made a small mistake that made me lose positions, but the good feeling I had with the bike allowed me to climb positions, overtaking cleanly. I got to second, I don’t know if I could catch up with Aegerter or not, but after the start we had a second position and it was very good. It’s a pity that I had a bad race, I tried to be as clean and sporty as possible. But it seems that other drivers didn’t think like me, and that’s how it was. I didn’t see the launch, I don’t know how it happened but we were left with the good race I had and prepared for the next one”.

Avintia Esponsorama Racing faces a new week of racing after the successful Spanish Grand Prix. With no time to rest, the MotoE World Cup will take place this weekend for the second consecutive race of the season at the Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit, where the Gran Premio de Andalucía will be held.

Eric Granado, who dominated the first round of the season, is leading the category on the second weekend of competition. The Brazilian, who won the opening race of the championship, is the favourite to win the race in Jerez.

For his part, Xavi Cardelús, who completed the first weekend in a category completely new to him, comes to the Andalusian Grand Prix with one more point of experience, understanding Energica Ego Corsa better and knowing more and more about the new competition format offered by the category.

This Friday, the Avintia Esponsorama Racing riders will start the first free practice sessions for the Andalusian Grand Prix, which the whole team is facing with very high expectations after the triumphant start of the championship.

“The weekend looks very good, I am very motivated and happy after the great work we did in the first race of the year. I can’t wait to get back on track to continue working with the team. This weekend, even if it is the same circuit, we start from scratch, working with a lot of concentration and focusing on improving on the points where we lack. From Friday we will try to prepare the bike as best as possible for the Sunday race which is the important thing.”

“We face the second race of the championship with a lot of desire since we have been doing good steps during the first weekend and we are willing to do better. I’m sure we’ll take a big step and be in forward positions.”

The Reale Avintia Moto3 team finished the Andalucia Grand Prix with a positive weekend for the team. Carlos Tatay scored the first points of the season at the Jerez-Ángel Nieto circuit by crossing the finish line in 13th position.

After the great performance during the qualifying session, the Valencian rider of the Reale Avintia Moto3 started the third race of the World Championship from the fourth line of the grid. Thanks to a great start, Carlos Tatay was able to move up to seventh position. After showing a constant rhythm and keeping a great part of the race in the second group, Tatay finally managed to add his first three points of the season, staying less than two seconds away from the ‘top-10’.

Reale Avintia Moto3 will take on the next round of the season at the Automotodrom Brno on August 7th, 8th and 9th.

“A very positive Sunday, I am satisfied with all the work that we have done. In the race I lacked a bit, especially in braking, to be with the front group, so we will continue working on our weak points to continue taking steps forward. Thanks to the team for all the work each race does.”

The Reale Avintia Moto3 started the Andalucia Grand Prix on the right foot after completing the first two free practice sessions at the Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit.

The morning has begun well for Carlos Tatay. The Valencian rider set the sixth best time in the first session, staying only three tenths of a second behind the first position, obtaining a best time of 1:46.292. In the second free practice, Tatay finished in 20th position after spending the day working on used tyres for Sunday’s race.

Tomorrow morning at 9:00 a.m. the third free practice will take place, where Carlos Tatay will fight to enter directly to the Q2. The qualifying will start at 12:35.

“It was a very positive day and from the beginning I felt very comfortable with the bike. The changes we made in the warm-up last week have paid off and now we have to wait for tomorrow. We have a good feeling, a good rhythm and I think we can do well. Let’s keep working, don’t lose our mentality and see what we can do.”

Carlos Tatay and Reale Avintia Moto3 will contest the third race of the season at the Jerez-Angel Nieto Circuit. After the unfortunate weekend before, Tatay will face the Gran Premio de Andalucia with the aim of recovering from the difficult second round of the season for the category.

The Valencian rider of the Reale Avintia Moto3 had an unfortunate Grand Prix of Spain, when in the first curve he was hit by an opponent and could not do anything to avoid a fall that forced him to abandon. Tatay will have another opportunity this weekend to achieve a good result that will help him to recover his sensations and thus score the first points of the season.

The Andalusian Grand Prix will start next Friday, when the first two free practices will take place. The Reale Avintia Moto3 is facing a new weekend of competition which it hopes will conclude with a positive result for the whole team.

“I’m very motivated to race again in Jerez. We didn’t restart the season in the way we wanted, but we are looking forward to this Andalusian Grand Prix to do well and be in the positions the team deserves. We are ready.”

The Hublot Reale Avintia Racing Team passed the first day of free practice at the Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit with good feelings.

In the first free practice session, Johann Zarco finished in 14th position, less than a second behind the leader, and Tito Rabat was 19th. Both were able to have a new contact with the Andalusian track four days after the celebration of the Spanish Grand Prix race.

Looking ahead to the second free practice, Zarco demonstrated the potential of the Ducati Desmosedici GP19 and finished the session in second position after setting a time of 1:37.970, just a tenth of a second slower than the first classified. Tito Rabat, meanwhile, had to settle for 14th position after crashing out on the last timed lap, on which he had been improving his best time.

Tomorrow morning at 9:55 the action will return to the track, when the third free practice session of the MotoGP class will take place. At 14:10 the qualifying session will take place, in which the order of the grid for the Andalusian Grand Prix race will be decided.

“So, the first day here for de second grand prix has been good. This afternoon I improved a little bit my lap time compared to the morning one. I got a little crash, but I was trying to find some new limits and to crash was not a problem, it was almost good to understand where I can push or not. So, positive day, tomorrow will be especially important to find the time-attack in FP3 to have the chance to go straight to Q2 and then have the best qualifying as possible. The performance is coming better and now I need to stay focused.”

“It’s been a positive day. In the morning, with the soft front tyre I didn’t do very well, but in the afternoon we tried some modifications and it went a little better. I’m satisfied and now we’ll see if we can continue in this direction and improve a little more. I’m sure that if we continue on this path it will go well”.

The motorcycle world championship doesn’t rest. After the Spanish Grand Prix last week, the Hublot Reale Avintia Racing Team will be competing this weekend in the second race of the season at the Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit in a row.

As was already seen during the Spanish Grand Prix, it will be a very tough weekend for the riders, who will have to endure temperatures close to 40 degrees Celsius and 60 degrees on the track.

Tito Rabat and Johann Zarco, who finished in point positions in the previous race, face a new week of competition with hunger and ambition to get a result that shows the true potential of the team.

This Friday the riders will be back on their Ducati Desmosedici GP19s for the first free practice, where the Hublot Reale Avintia Racing Team will start a Grand Prix of Andalucia with high expectations.

“After the last weekend, we got a lot of experience, a good first contact. Now, we start from a very good base, from which we will focus on polishing details of my riding, as there are not new pieces to try, so we are lucky to be able to focus on polishing small things to improve yourself”

“I’m happy to be again at the same circuit, I learnt many things on the Ducati so repeating at the same track, for me, I think is useful, because I will see if the work I do with the team will be good or not. I think the step I will do this week is very important, to also prepare for the next race in Czech Republic. Next race will be hot again, around 40 degrees all the weekend, but we are ready for the next one and I know now which is the sector I need to work.”

The Hublot Reale Avintia Racing Team started the season at the Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit with a good result from Johann Zarco and Tito Rabat, who crossed the line in 11th and 14th position respectively.

The French rider, who started the race in a late position due to a crash during the qualifying session, made a great comeback that allowed him to score his first points with the Hublot Reale Avintia Racing Team. From the start, Zarco showed a superior pace to his rivals and in the third lap he was already in the points, where he kept on going until he finished the race just one place away from the top ten.

For his part, Tito Rabat has had a somewhat complicated start to his career. The Barcelona-based rider, who started one place ahead of his teammate, was relegated to last position in the early stages of the race. Despite this, Tito managed to recover positions until he reached 14th, thus adding the first two points of the season for him.

Next weekend the Grand Prix of Andalucia will be held at the same track in Jerez, where the Hublot Reale Avintia Racing Team will once again have the opportunity to show the team’s potential and fight for the top positions.

The Hublot Reale Avintia Racing Team started the season at the Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit with a good result from Johann Zarco and Tito Rabat, who crossed the line in 11th and 14th position respectively.

“I’m happy to finish the race and it was very important because it’s a long time since I did not finish a race, almost ten months, and this means that step by step I can comeback I can comeback to the high level. I understood many things during the race and many things that I can ask to Ducati to find a better feeling and better pace during the race. I expected to be faster, but it was too difficult to go to 38s and I was every lap doing 39s and this did not help me to catch the guys in front. I’m happy to be here again next week, it would be useful to improve myself and to have a clear target and to see if I can make well my work and work well with the team.”

“During the first laps of the race we had a lot of fun. After the start we followed the race group, then Smith was lagging behind and I got off the group. From here I tried to shoot despite having problems with the front axle, it was really difficult to go faster. It was a long race, I have been cutting back a little bit lap by lap the group of Zarco that was my first objective, although we could not achieve it. Looking ahead to next weekend we will work to improve the feeling with the front end”

Reale Avintia Moto3 and Carlos Tatay have not taken the Moto3 World Championship back the way they wanted it to. The Valencian rider was involved in an incident in the early stages of the race and was unable to do anything to avoid a crash that prevented him from completing the race at the Spanish Grand Prix.

Tatay, who started the race in 23rd position and had great expectations to make up ground and reach the points, lost control of his KTM after being hit by an opponent in the first corner. The Spaniard was unable to do anything to rejoin the race due to damage to his bike.

Despite being a complicated weekend for the team, Carlos Tatay and Reale Avintia Moto3 will have another opportunity in seven days at the same Jerez-Angel Nieto Circuit, where the Gran Premio de Andalucia will be held, which will be the third round of the season for the category.

“It’s been a tough weekend and ending it this way is not the best, but what doesn’t knock you down makes you stronger. I take the positive side of this weekend, in the Warm-Up we have had very good feelings, very good pace to be fighting in the race so now to think about next Friday, try to start very concentrated and go for the next one”.

The Avintia Esponsorama Racing Brazilian rider has started the MotoE World Cup as he finished last season. Granado, who dominated the entire weekend, was able to make a strong showing against his rivals at the Spanish Grand Prix. Xavi Cardelús crossed the line in 14th position.

Despite losing the first position at the start when the front wheel of his Energica Ego Corsa was lifted, Eric Granado did not give any option during the whole race. It took the Brazilian four corners to regain the lead of the race and finish more than three seconds in front of the second classified. In this way, Granado is first in the general classification of 2020.

For his part, Xavi Cardelús has completed his first weekend in the MotoE category. The Andorran rider lost four positions in the early stages, but was gradually able to overtake some of his rivals, which allowed him to finish the race in 14th place. Without a doubt, a very positive result for Cardelús after showing great progress throughout the weekend, being his first race and having to adapt to a completely new category for him.

Avintia Esponsorama Racing finishes the Spanish Grand Prix with a very positive start to the World Cup. Despite this, there is no time to rest. Next weekend the second round of the MotoE World Cup will be held at the same Jerez-Angel Nieto Circuit: the Andalusian Grand Prix.

“Very happy, we had a perfect weekend. We had a very good rhythm during all the training sessions and I really felt very comfortable with the bike. At the start my bike got a little bit higher with the first touch of gas and I lost a little bit of time, but I’m happy because then I was able to pass Tulovic and open up an advantage that I was able to control until the end of the race. I’m very happy, now it’s time to think with the team what we can do to be even stronger next week and maintain the good level we had in this one.”
