The Reale Avintia Racing Team is pleased to announce that Johann Zarco will be the rider to race with Tito Rabat at the next MotoGP World Championship in 2020. The Ducati satellite team will be joined by two track engineers and two Ducati Corse electronics that will follow the activity of the two riders of the Demosedici GP19 throughout the coming season. Zarco, two-time Moto2 World Champion, has signed a one-year agreement directly with Ducati and will be on track for the next season for the first time in the winter tests scheduled at Sepang from 7 to 9 February.

“I am really happy and excited with the arrival of a great rider like Johann Zarco to our team from the hand of Ducati. This further strengthens the growth of the team after extending the contract with the Manufacter of Borgo Panigale, making a leap of quality in terms of material by becoming a satellite team. All this package will allow to reflect in the circuits the effort of the structure in the last years. We hope to see Johann and Tito assiduously in the top ten and become a reference team soon. Johann Zarco has commented on his new challenge:

“I am very pleased to officially announce my signature with Ducati for 2020 season in MotoGP category racing in the Reale Avintia Racing Team. My left ankle is recovering well, I can enjoy now my winter time having rest with family and training again very soon!”

El equipo Reale Avintia Racing se complace en anunciar que Johann Zarco será el piloto que acompañará a Tito Rabat en el próximo Campeonato del Mundo de MotoGP 2020. El equipo satélite Ducati contará con la presencia de dos ingenieros de pista y dos electrónicos Ducati Corse que seguirán la actividad de los dos pilotos de la Demosedici GP19 durante toda la próxima temporada. Zarco, dos veces Campeón del Mundo de Moto2, ha firmado un acuerdo de un año directamente con Ducati y hará su primera aparición en pista por primera vez la próxima temporada en los test invernales previstos en Sepang del 7 al 9 de febrero.

Johann Zarco ha comentado su nuevo compromiso de la siguiente manera:

“Estoy muy contento de anunciar oficialmente mi firma con Ducati para la temporada 2020 en la categoría MotoGP en el Reale Avintia Racing Team. ¡Mi tobillo izquierdo se está recuperando bien, ahora puedo disfrutar de mi invierno descansando con mi familia y entrenando de nuevo muy pronto!”

Avintia Esponsorama Racing and Xavier Cardelús join forces for the next MotoE 2020 World Cup. It will be the first time that an Andorran rider and team are together in a Motorcycling World Championship. The young rider joins the ranks of the team as a team-mate of the Brazilian Eric Granado.

Xavier Cardelús, who is only 21 years old, has already accumulated a certain amount of experience on the circuits. Currently, he has been competing in the 2019 season of the Moto2 World Championship with Ángel Nieto Team, during 2018 he completed a total of 13 races in the intermediate category, 7 with Team Stylobike and the remaining 6 with the Marinelli Snipers Team, in 2017 he participated in the SuperSport World Championship and in 2015 he competed in the FIM CEV Moto2 European Championship.

For the 2020 World Championship, Cardelús will face a new challenge in his professional career with Avintia Esponsorama Racing making his debut in the MotoE World Cup.

With this new incorporation and the signing of Carlos Tatay in the Moto3 category, the team’s line-up is practically closed for the next 2020 season, just waiting to confirm the name of the new rider who will share the MotoGP box with Tito Rabat.

Avintia Esponsorama Racing y Xavier Cardelús, se unen para disputar juntos la próxima Copa del Mundo de MotoE 2020. Será la primera vez que un piloto y una escudería andorrana están juntos en un campeonato del mundo de motociclismo. El joven piloto se suma así a las filas del equipo, como compañero del brasileño Eric Granado.

Xavier Cardelús, con tan solo 21 años de edad, ya acumula experiencia en los circuitos. Viene de disputar la temporada 2019 del Campeonato del Mundo de Moto2, durante el 2018 completó un total de 13 carreras en la categoría intermedia también, en el 2017 participó en SuperSport World Championship y en 2015 compitió en el FIM CEV Moto2 European Championship.

Para el mundial de 2020, Cardelús afrontará un nuevo reto en su trayectoria profesional de la mano del Avintia Esponsorama Racing debutando en la que será la segunda Copa del Mundo de MotoE de la historia.

Con esta nueva incorporación y el fichaje de Carlos Tatay en la categoría de Moto3, queda prácticamente cerrada la plantilla del equipo de cara a la próxima temporada 2020, solo a la espera de confirmar el nombre del nuevo piloto que compartirá ‘box’ en MotoGP con Tito Rabat.
