THE MOTOGP RIDERS OF THE AVINTIA ESPONSORAMA RACING TEAM DEBUT ON THE LOSAIL CIRCUIT WITH VERY POSITIVE RESULTS.

The Losail Circuit located in Doha City, Qatar has a length of 5,380m, with 16 curves (6 left and 10 to right) is one of the most significant circuits on the calendar. It has a lighting system that allows to ride at night being the Qatar GP the only one with these special conditions of artificial lighting. This first day reserved for rookies in the category has been very positive for both riders who have ride for the first time with their Ducati.

 

# 10 – LUCA MARINI – SKY VR46 AVINTIA TEAM
What an incredible power: I was expecting it, but it was so special the first exit. I did a few good laps, focusing only on my riding style to gain confidence. The braking has surprised me, I’m not completely comfortable because with the carbon disc it’s different and I definitely have to work on my style. Today I was able to improve the position on the bike by working on the details of the tank, the handlebars and the seat. Ducati is big, but I’m very tall. I’m not very happy with the lap time, but tomorrow we can make a step. A busy day, but physically I feel fine.

#23 ENEA BASTIANINI – AVINTIA ESPONSORAMA RACING 

“I am very satisfied, I have had a lot of fun, I expected the bike to be very fast but not so much. I am very surprised by the change of gear and the braking of the bike, I am very happy it has been a very positive experience. I can’t wait till tomorrow to ride again. I have needed my time to adapt to the bike as the lines change a lot because I have more power. In short we need to work more on electronics although it is still early. Thank the whole team for the great work done “.

RUBEN XAUS – TEAM MANAGER 

“Today was the day of the debut on track for our double Team: Esponsorama Avintia and Sky VR46 Avintia with Enea and Luca. Two very young riders, both rookies, a World Champion and a title contender. I’m happy, it was the first time they were able to try the bike, a very powerful MotoGP prototype with lots of details to fix. The track was not perfect, dirty and a really wind day. The feelings were positive, however, they have started to know the bike and both managed to stay under the wall of two minutes on the flying lap. Tomorrow there will be many other riders on the track, not just the rookies, and we will have more references. Enea and Luca are fast, they have similar mentalities and they want to show their best. We are a small team, but at the same time with a lot of experience on Ducati. I hope to achieve a lot of good results in this season also thanks to the support of all our partners as Avintia and Nascor, Usus, Pata.

 EL EQUIPO DE MOTO3 AVINTIA ESPONSORAMA RACING  COMPLETA LOS TRES DIAS DE TEST PRIVADOS EN EL CIRCUITO DE JEREZ CON SENSACIONES MUY POSITIVAS.

 

Después de tres intensos días rodando en el Circuito Jerezano en unos test privados, los pilotos del Equipo Avintia Esponsorama Racing , Carlos Tatay y Nicolo Antonelli, consiguen avanzar en la puesta apunto de sus monturas de cara a la doble cita en el GP de Qatar los próximos 26th,27th y 28th de Marzo y 2th, 3th y 4th de Abril.

#99 CARLOS TATAY

“Estos tres días de test han sido muy positivos, por fin de vuelta a la pista y con el equipo, cogiendo sensaciones y velocidad. Creo que han sido unos test muy satisfactorios, hemos probados muchas cosas y hemos trabajado mucho. Me he adaptado muy bien a mi técnico y mis mecánicos, hemos hecho un gran trabajo. Ahora toca centrarse en Qatar un circuito que me gustó mucho el año pasado. De Jerez me llevo un buen feeling y unas sensaciones muy buenas, ahora toca seguir trabajando de cara a Qatar. ¡Muchas gracias al equipo por el trabajo y en Qatar …más!”

 

# 23 NICOLÓ ANTONELLI

“Hemos aprovechado al máximo los tres días de Test , hoy ha sido el último día y como los demás ha sido muy positivo. Me he sentido muy bien, hemos probado durante muchas vueltas y ahora la concentración está enfocada al próximo GP en Qatar “

FINALIZAN LOS TEST OFICIALES DE MOTOE CON RESULTADOS POSITIVOS PARA LOS PILOTOS DEL AVINTIA ESPONSORAMA RACING TEAM

La jornada de hoy ha estado marcada por fuertes rachas de viento que han propiciado un escenario diferente para nuestros pilotos. Después de tres jornadas intensas de trabajo, los resultados son satisfactorios para todo el equipo, que después de un largo periodo de tiempo sin poder probar han aprovechado al máximo la pista Jerezana.

Xavier Cardelús ha realizado en esta última jornada un total de 16 vueltas, marcando su mejor tiempo de las tres jornadas hoy en 1.48.488.  Por su parte André Pires ha realizado un total de 17 vueltas parando el crono en 1.54. 200 y como mejor resultado de las tres jornadas 1.51.600.

La próxima cita para ver la categoría de MotoE en acción será los días 30 de Abril, 1y 2 de Mayo en el Circuito de Jerez.

 

# 18 XAVIER CARDELÚS

“Acabamos los primeros test del año, estoy muy contento ya echaba de menos estar encima de la moto. El primer día fue básicamente recuperar sensaciones, a partir del segundo día tuvimos la opción de probar nuevos neumáticos traseros y la verdad es que personalmente creo que son muchísimo mejores que los del año pasado me ha adaptado mucho mejor y me he sentido muy cómodo. Hoy hemos terminado bien quizás nos ha faltado poder rodar más vueltas, pero creo que hemos conseguido un buen “time attack “que estoy seguro mejoraremos. El resumen del fin de semana es positivo, estoy muy satisfecho de cómo hemos trabajado todo el equipo”.

 

# 14 ANDRÉ PIRES

“Me he sentido muy bien, sabía que sería un gran desafío pero soy positivo y estoy contento por la confianza que han depositado en mi para poder correr este Campeonato . Todo es totalmente diferente para mi tenemos mucho en lo que trabajar para poder saber que es lo mejor. Intentaré hacer un buen trabajo, los neumáticos me dan confianza y mi objetivo es avanzar para estar lo mejor posible de cara a la primera carrera del Campeonato “

With exceptionally good sensations and positive performance, concludes the first day of MotoE Official Tests at the Jerez circuit.

A good experience for the riders of the Avintia Esponsorama Team, who have seen how after a long period of time without being able to test their bikes on the track, finally today they have been able to recover the sensations to develop the MotoE bikes.

The best lap of Xavier Cardelús was 1:49.734. His partner Andre Pires in his debut in the category made a total of 34 laps marking his best time at 1:52,351

This day will be followed by two more days of official tests in which good weather conditions are expected.

 

18 XAVIER CARDELÚS

“I’m happy to be able to get back on the bike after almost a year standing. The first sensations have been to remember how this bike is going. In general, I am very happy with how this first day has gone. There are still two more days left so, we have time. Jerez is a circuit that we are used to all who have been competing for years, personally I think it is a difficult circuit, but in short I am happy and the sensations of this first day are positive”.

 

14 ANDRÉ PIRES

“I am adapting very well after so long without riding, I really like the bike although it is totally different from other bikes. I really like this circuit; the whole team is doing an excellent job. I need to roll and spin to adapt and understand the bike more and more. It is my debut in this category and everything is new to me, the tires, the brakes, the power of the bike, today it has been my first contact and, in every way, it has been very positive.”

CONCLUYE LA PRIMERA JORNADA DE LOS TEST OFICIALES DE MOTOE EN EL CIRCUITO JEREZANO.

 

Con Muy buenas sensaciones y un positivo rendimiento, concluye la primera jornada de Test Oficiales de MotoE en el circuito Jerezano.

Sin duda una buena experiencia para los pilotos del Esponsorama Avintia Racing que han visto como después de un largo periodo de tiempo sin poder probar sus motos en pista, finalmente hoy han podido recuperar las sensaciones de cara a poder desarrollar la puesta a punto de sus monturas.

Xavier Cardelús ha marcado su mejor tiempo en 1:49.734, su compañero Andre Pires en su debut en la categoría a rodado un total de 34 vueltas marcando su mejor tiempo en 1:52.351

A esta jornada le seguirán dos días más de Test oficiales en los que se esperan unas buenas condiciones meteorológicas.

 

# 18 XAVIER CARDELÚS

“Estoy contento por poder volver a subirme en la moto después de casi un año parados. Las primeras sensaciones han sido para recordar cómo va esta moto que es muy diferente a lo que uno está habituado, pero muy contento de cómo ha marchado esta primera jornada. Todavía quedan dos jornadas más por lo que no hay que precipitarse. Jerez es un circuito al que estamos acostumbrados todos los que llevamos años corriendo, personalmente creo que es un circuito difícil, pero en resumen estoy muy contento y las sensaciones de este primer día son muy positivas”.

 

 

# 14  ANDRÉ PIRES

“Me estoy adaptando muy bien después de tanto tiempo sin montar, me gusta mucho la moto seguramente el haber rodado tanto en otras motos tiene que ver con que me este adaptado también a esta moto. Este circuito me gusta muchísimo, todo el equipo está haciendo un excelente trabajo. Necesito rodar y dar vueltas para adaptarme y entender cada vez más la moto. Es mi debut en esta categoría y todo es nuevo para mí , los neumáticos, los frenos, la potencia de la moto , hoy ha sido mi primera toma de contacto y en todos los sentidos ha sido muy positivo “.
