DOHA TISSOT GP ENDS WITH VERY POSITIVE RESULTS FOR AVINTIA ESPONSORAMA RACING TEAM: BASTIANINI GET THE 11TH POSITION WHILE MARINI FINISHES 18TH

Doha (Qatar) April 4, 2021 – Ends the second GP on the Losail International Circuit. Enea Bastianini who was started the 18th has managed to go up finishing 11th, some problems with the hair and sweat have not allowed him to have good visibility in the last laps preventing a better position. Luca Marini has finished 18th; the Italian continues to improve with the achieving to get better results.

 

#23 ENEA BASTIANINI – 11th

“We have made a great race; I am very happy. I’m go up, even if I would have liked to be on grid much better, I am sure that I could have fought with the first ones. Unfortunately 6 or 7 laps from the end ,my hair and sweat did not let me have good visibility and don’t let me to stay focused, again obstacle and bad luck! We have improve more than last weekend so I’m very satisfied.”

# 10 LUCA MARINI – 18th

“ I was expected more from today´s race: I had a good pace, but after ten laps I started to struggled with the front tire.The condition became more and more tough until 6 laps to go when I could no longer push to the right. It is a problem that I had this morning in the warm up in the middle of the corner and we need to work on this aspect that strongly affected the result of the race. A real pity.”

NICCOLÒ ANTONELLI WIN HIS FIRST PODIUM OF THE SEASON FOR THE AVINTIA ESPONSORAMA RACING TEAM AT THE TISSOT GP OF DOHA

Doha (Qatar) April 4, 2021 – Avintia Esponsorama Racing Team gets its first podium this season. Antonelli has been in the head group the whole race winning in the last lap the 3rd position. Niccolò is in the general classification 4th with 26 points. His teammate Carlos Tatay after suffering a fall has managed to finish 21st.

# 23 NICCOLÒ ANTONELLI – 3rd position.

“I’m very happy, I’ve been thinking all night that I wanted to be on the podium today and in the end, I’ve made it. I can only be happy, to thank the team for all the work we have done. This must be a starting point to keep improving. The middle of the race is hard as everyone tries to be in front, was crazy everyone was all at the limit of braking. I tried to be calm and get to the last lap as far ahead as possible to get a podium. I dedicate this podium to all the people who are by my side.”

 

#99 CARLOS TATAY – 21th position.

“The weekend has not been positive for me, today I had a fall, and I could not continue fighting to go up. Now I focus on the next race to give my best and get the results we deserve.”

 SECOND DAY OF FREE PRACTICE AND QUALIFYING OF THE TISSOT GRAND PRIX OF DOHA. MARINI 13TH POSITION WHILE BASTIANINI WILL COME OUT 19TH

Doha (Qatar) April 3, 2021 – The second day of the Doha Tissot GP has been very positive for Luca Marini, for only 8 thousandths he has not been able to be in Q2 finishing in 13º position . The Italian rider will be starting on fifth line on the grid with a time of 1.54.228. Enea Bastiani has had problems in the qualifying section on his bike, this has prevented him from improving his time finishing in 19th position.

#10 LUCA MARINI (SKY VR46 AVINTIA TEAM) – 1,54.228 – 13º

“A good qualifying: I am satisfied with how it went today , I had a lot of fun! In the FP4 we have tried a change for the race, to try to fix the felling on the front , but I didn´t have the desired feelings . We went back to the standard bike and it was the right choice. I felt good, I did some good laps, not a perfect one and that cost me the access to the Q2 . We have made a good step forward compared to last weekend and I’m happy “.

 

#23 ENEA BASTIANINI – 1,54,632 – 19th

“Unfortunately, today we had a few problems, we did not deserve it, I hope I can make a good starting tomorrow. My pace is good, this weekend was more difficult. We must understand what the source of the problem is, with the bad luck nothing can be done. Tomorrow I will go out strongly to try to get a good result.”

SECOND DAY OF PRACTICE AND QUALIFYING: ANTONELLI 10TH POSITION HIS TEAMMATE TATAY 18TH

Doha (Qatar) 3 April 2021 – On this second day of practice and qualifying, again with a strong wind, Moto3 riders from Avintia Esponsorama Racing have been unable to achieve the objectives . Niccolò Antonelli will be in the fourth row with a 10th place he has achieved with a time of 2.07.025. Carlos Tatay has finished 18th with a time of 2.08.011. Both riders have their concentration on tomorrow’s race where they hope to improve.

“It has been a complicated qualifying where I have not been able to achieve the objectives I had; I am not happy with the result since I think we can achieve better positions. Now it’s time to concentrate on tomorrow’s race where I hope to go back.”

“It hasn’t been a positive weekend; the results don’t reflect the work we’re doing. We need to keep working to resolve the obstacles we have in this weekend. Tomorrow I will give the maximum to try to go back in the race.”

FIRST DAY OF FREE PRACTICE OF THE TISSOT GRAND PRIX OF DOHA.
Doha (Qatar) April 2, 2021 – Today’s day has not been positive for the riders of the Avintia Esponsorama Racing team in the MotoGP category. The conditions of the track have not been favourable, although both riders will continue to demonstrate their potential tomorrow in the second day of practice. Enea Bastiani has scored a time of 1.54,516 finishing in 19th position. His team mate Luca Marini has finished in 20th with a time of 1,54.680.

“It hasn’t been a great day. Since this morning was difficult but I did not want to be negative and I thought that we could improve in the afternoon in FP2, unfortunately that’s not happened, I had no felling with the bike e neither in the first time attack and the second. I had less grip compared to last week and I have not managed to ride well. We need to understand if it has been a problem with the tires or that we must improve the setting. Track conditions have changed. I wasn’t 100% physically today, but tomorrow we’ll be better.”

“ A positive Friday despite the position. At the time of the time attack I tried to follow someone, but we waited a lot and I lost some time.I tried then a lap but the tires were still a bit cold and I did not push at 100% . However, I am happy with the work done because the changes we have tried on the bike have been positive, we have made a slight step forward and tomorrow we still have something we can do on the setup to be able to perform better in qualifying”

Many riders have managed to improve their times and we have not succeeded. The other teams have improved a lot and we have not. We must learn from this and stay focused knowing that we are a great team with a lot of potential. Tomorrow will be another day, we are out of the Q2 but we will try tomorrow at least to get out of the top fifteen, something of vital importance.”

 FIRST DAY OF FREE PRACTICE FOR AVINTIA ESPONSORAMA RACING MOTO3 RIDERS

Doha, Qatar, 2 April 2021 – First warm day of free practice at the Tissot GP of Doha. With the objective to overcome the results obtained last weekend, Moto3 riders from Avintia Esponsorama Racing have returned to the Losail track today. Niccolò Antonelli has managed to get into the Q2, marking a time of 2,05.412 and finishing 14th. Carlos Tatay has finished 21th with a time of 2,05.655.

“They’ve been complicated free practice, especially the second. It is very hard to try to make a fast lap with so much traffic, but we’ve finally managed to get into Q2. I am satisfied with the result. Tomorrow we will remain focused to achieve better positions.”

 

#99 CARLOS TATAY – 2,05,655 – 21st

“It hasn’t been the best training, but we’re going in the right direction. By tomorrow we know where to improve to get a better feeling. The traffic on the track has conditioned today’s results, but we will certainly continue to work.”

LOS PILOTOS DEL AVINTIA ESPONSORAMA RACING MOTO3 PREPARADOS PARA VOLVER A LA ACCION EN EL GP TISSOT DE DOHA.

 

Doha (Qatar) 1 de abril 2021 – Segunda carrera en Qatar para los pilotos de Moto3. Después de dos días de descanso Niccolò Antonelli enfoca este nuevo gran premio con las ganas de remontar la 6ª posición que consiguió el pasado fin de semana. Carlos Tatay se marca como objetivo mejorar sus puntos débiles ya que su potencial lo sitúa en lo más alto de la clasificación.

“El fin de semana pasado ha sido muy positivo, durante los entrenamientos trabajamos muy bien cumpliendo objetivos, en carrera fue diverso había mucho viento y esto cambio completamente la situación, aún ha si fuimos capaces de realizar una buena carrera. Para este fin de semana tenemos que mejorar y aprender de los errores adaptando la moto al viento ya que este finde semana se espera de nuevo. El objetivo es mantenernos en los puestos de cabeza”.

“Afrontamos este fin de semana de manera muy positiva ya que el fin de semana pasado, nos quedamos con un sabor agridulce en carrera por fallos que yo no puedo controlar en pista y que me relegaron a posiciones que no son las que realmente merecemos. Este fin de semana toca seguir trabajando para mejorar los puntos débiles y conseguir estar delante”.

AFTER TWO DAYS OFF OF THE AVINTIA ESPONSORAMA RACING TEAM RIDERS RETURN TO LOSAIL

 

Doha (Qatar ), 30 March 2021 – After  the first Grand Prix of the season the riders of Avintia Esponsorama Racing return to work this weekend at Losail  for the Doha GP . The summary of the first days has been very positive. Enea Bastianini completed the race as the best debutant in the category by finishing 10th, while Luca Marini progressed getting the 16th position.

“Now we have more experience. I managed to do a magnificent race. Surely the 5 mili. that I missed in  qualifiying  influenced the race start , but I am very happy. We will try to be faster in the time attack and make a race similar to last Sunday.

 

# 10 Luca Marini (Team Sky VR46 Avintia )

“It is a great opportunity to be able to race again at Losail and I can´t wait to get back out on track. After the race, we have analyzed the data and I know where I need to improve , bouth as a rider and on the bike to improve , for making a step forward directly from the free practices”.

“In two days we will start  to start the second GP weekend. The first weekend went how we expected. We didn’t have too much time on those bikes . The race went well  for both of them, Bastianini scored a brilliant 10th  position after recovering a bad start. He finished as best rookie and first private bike on a satelite team, in front of several factory riders. Marini had a bad luck situation at the beginning of the race, but after  his performance was very good . I’m very happy for both riders. The second race is another step for us.  We have a lot of information to be used  and know how to do it . Its positive that this second race will be held here in Qatar again because we have a lot information that will help us to race in much better technical conditions.

ENEA BASTIANINI BEST ROOKIE FINISHES 10TH IN THE GP BARWA OF QATAR . MARINI FINISHES IN  16TH POSITION.
Doha (Qatar) March 28, 2021 – Unmemorable day for Team Avintia Esponsorama Racing. Enea Bastiani manages to be the best debutant in the MotoGP category finishing in a surprising 10th position in his first race this season, the Italian had some problem in the starting grid but after he comeback to get into the top 10. His teammate Luca Marini has finished in 16th place completing the twenty-two laps of this Grand Prix.

“It’s been amazing! Unfortunately, I have not been able to activate the system that lowers the bike at the race exit so I could not get better. In the first few laps I felt a little tired, the power of the Ducati that I have to manage is a lot. It’s taken me a little while with the new tires to be behind the others, but in the end I feel  better  until I reach the tenth. I saw that I could reach seventh place, but five laps from the end I made a small mistake and failed the trajectory losing the possibility of overtaking. I am very happy with the result, we have worked very well. My goal was to finish in the Top 10 and I’ve made it.”
#10 LUCA MARINI (SKY VR46 AVINTIA TEAM) – 16th position.
“First race in MotoGP, I’m glad I finished it. I didn’t have speed,  and I’ve had a worse felling than I had in the test, I was wasted a lot of time on the corner. Now we have a few days to analyze the data. I like the possibility of being able to run back here next week as I know we can improve a lot and get to be in best positions.”

“It’s been a good weekend for the whole team. Bastianini, as his nickname says, has behaved like a “beast.” We knew that the first laps were important for don’t lose the rhythm . We have been the first private bike and the best debutante. I’m very happy for him and the team. These results reflect the work and constancy of the all team.
