Reale Avintia Moto3 and Carlos Tatay finished the Czech Republic Grand Prix at the Brno circuit. The Valencian rider crossed the line in 18th position after a hard-fought and tight race.

After yesterday’s qualifying session, Tatay started on the eighth line of the grid. After a good start recovering two positions, the Reale Avintia Moto3 rider maintained an intense fight in the second group throughout the race. Despite his great effort, especially overcoming the strong crash he suffered during the second free practice on Friday, Carlos Tatay was only nine tenths of a second away from reaching the top ten.

With no time to rest, the Reale Avintia Moto3 is already thinking about next weekend, when the Austrian Grand Prix will be held at the Red Bull Ring – Spielberg circuit.

“Ending a weekend like this is a weight off my mind. We worked very hard but the crash in FP2 was very hard and deprived me of a good feeling and of the ability to continue working in the direction we were going. But we have been reborn, during the race I felt very comfortable, I was recovering confidence in every lap that passed, in the braking, opening gas? I want to thank the team for the work they have done, as they have trusted me and as we have all gone forward together.

El Reale Avintia Moto3 y Carlos Tatay han finalizado el Gran Premio de la República Checa en el circuito de Brno. El piloto valenciano ha cruzado la línea de meta en 18ª posición tras una carrera muy luchada y ajustada.

Tras la sesión clasificatoria de ayer, Tatay arrancaba en la octava línea de la parrilla de salida. Después de un buen arranque recuperando dos posiciones, el piloto del Reale Avintia Moto3 ha mantenido durante toda la carrera una intensa lucha en el segundo grupo. Pese a su gran esfuerzo, sobre todo superando moralmente la fuerte caída que sufrió durante el segundo entrenamiento libre del viernes, Carlos Tatay se ha quedado a tan solo nueve décimas de alcanzar el Top-10.

Sin tiempo para descansar, el Reale Avintia Moto3 ya piensa en el próximo fin de semana, cuando se celebrará el Gran Premio de Austria en el circuito Red Bull Ring – Spielberg.

“Acabar así un fin de semana tan complicado me quita un peso de encima. Hemos trabajado muy duro pero la caída en el FP2 fue muy dura y me privó de tener buenas sensaciones y de continuar trabajando en la dirección en la que íbamos. Pero hemos vuelto a renacer, durante la carrera me he encontrado muy cómodo, iba recuperando confianza en cada vuelta que pasaba, en las frenadas, abriendo gas… Quiero agradecer al equipo el trabajo que ha hecho, como ha confiado en mi y como todos juntos hemos salido adelante.”

Carlos Tatay and Reale Avintia Moto3 completed qualifying for the Czech Republic Grand Prix, where the Valencian rider set the twenty-second fastest time of the session.

After the heavy crash during the second free practice yesterday, Carlos Tatay was back on track this morning for the third practice session and step by step he has recovered his feeling and confidence with his KTM. In Q1 Tatay stopped the clock at 2’10.120, only two tenths of a second off the best time in Q2. Therefore, the Reale Avintia Moto3 rider will start on the eighth line of the grid.

Tomorrow at 11:00 the Czech Republic Grand Prix race will take place at the Brno circuit, where Carlos Tatay will fight from the first lap to recover positions and finish in the best possible position.

“It’s been a tough day from the start. Yesterday’s crash affected us mostly morally, physically I feel good, but I didn’t have the confidence and ease to do a good FP3. I took it easy, I wasn’t completely happy, I was going step by step and in the end in Q1 the times weren’t what I wanted, but the feelings were there. In the end we were only a tenth and a half away from going through to Q2, so we’re not happy, but we’re satisfied because we’re seeing progress and we’re moving forward. After yesterday’s crash, we’re getting up step by step.”

Carlos Tatay y el Reale Avintia Moto3 han completado la clasificación del Gran Premio de la República Checa, donde el piloto valenciano ha marcado el vigesimosegundo mejor registro de la sesión.

Tras la fuerte caída durante los segundos entrenamientos libres celebrados en el día de ayer, Carlos Tatay ha vuelto a la pista esta mañana para disputar la tercera sesión de entrenamientos y paso a paso ha ido recuperando sensaciones y confianza con su KTM. En la Q1 Tatay ha parado el cronómetro en 2’10.120, quedándose a tan solo dos décimas de acceder a la Q2. Por lo tanto, el piloto del Reale Avintia Moto3 arrancará en la octava línea de la parrilla de salida.

Mañana a las 11:00 se disputará en el circuito de Brno la carrera del Gran Premio de la República Checa, donde Carlos Tatay luchará desde la primera vuelta por recuperar posiciones y terminar en la mejor posición posible.

“Ha sido un día complicado desde el principio. La caída de ayer nos ha afectado sobre todo moralmente, físicamente me encuentro bien, pero no tenía esa confianza y esa soltura como para hacer un buen FP3. Me lo he tomado con calma, no estaba del todo contento, iba paso a paso y al final en la Q1 los tiempos no han sido los que quería, pero sí las sensaciones. Al final nos hemos quedado a tan solo una décima y media de pasar a la Q2, así que no estamos contentos, pero sí satisfechos ya que vemos una progresión y que vamos avanzando. Después de la caída de ayer nos vamos levantando poco a poco.”

Esponsorama Racing completed a brilliant qualifying session at the Czech Republic Grand Prix, where Johann Zarco took the pole position and Tito Rabat 15th.

The French rider, who showed a great pace all weekend with his Ducati Desmosedici GP19, managed to qualify directly in Q2. During the qualifying session, after setting a time of 1’55.687, Zarco was able to beat his rivals despite Fabio Quartararo’s crash during his last lap, who came at +0.191, which would not have improved the Esponsorama Racing rider’s time, achieving the team’s first pole position since its debut in MotoGP.

Tito Rabat has finished in a meritorious 15th position after the great evolution he has shown since yesterday. The rider from Barcelona will fight from the first lap to climb positions and obtain the best possible result in the race.

Tomorrow at 14:00 the Czech Republic Grand Prix race will start, which, after the successful qualifying session, the team faces with great expectations.

El Esponsorama Racing ha completado una brillante sesión clasificatoria en el Gran Premio de la República Checa, donde Johann Zarco ha logrado la ‘pole position’ y Tito Rabat ha sido 15º.

El piloto francés, que ya mostró todo el fin de semana un gran ritmo con su Ducati Desmosedici GP19, ha logrado clasificarse directamente a la Q2. En la sesión clasificatoria, tras marcar un tiempo de 1’55.687, Zarco se ha impuesto con contundencia sobre sus rivales a pesar de la caída de Fabio Quartararo durante su última vuelta, en la cuál venía a +0.191 y no hubiese logrado mejorar el registro del piloto del Esponsorama Racing, consiguiendo así la primera ‘pole position’ del equipo desde su debut en MotoGP.

Por su parte, Tito Rabat ha finalizado en una meritoria 15ª posición tras la gran evolución que ha mostrado desde el día de ayer. El piloto barcelonés luchará desde la primera vuelta por escalar posiciones y obtener en la carrera el mejor resultado posible.

Mañana a partir de las 14:00 dará comienzo la carrera del Gran Premio de la República Checa que, tras la exitosa sesión clasificatoria, el equipo afronta con grandes expectativas.

El equipo Esponsorama Racing quiere pedir disculpas publicamente por la impresión que pueda haber causado a través de las imágenes de televisión al alegrarse por la caída de Fabio Quartararo. El equipo ha expresado su gran alegría por lo increíblemente cerca que estaba de conseguir por primera vez desde su debut en la categoría de MotoGP después de 20 años la primera ‘pole position’. The Avintia Esponsorama Racing Team has finished the Grand Prix of Andalusia. Xavi Cardelús achieved a magnificent 10th position after a full weekend for the Andorran rider and Eric Granado finished 13th after being challenged by an opponent with two laps to go.

The Brazilian rider, who set the fourth best time in the e-Pole, had a bad start that cost him three places. Granado has started a great comeback that he has not managed to finish. With three laps to go, the driver from Sao Paulo has managed to move up to the second position and in the attempt to catch up with the leader, Matteo Ferrari has ruined his career after running him over in turn 6. Despite the bad conditions of his Energica Ego Corsa after the strong crash, Eric Granado has managed to finish the race adding three points.

In his second race in the category, Xavi Cardelús has finished in the points section for the second time in a row after his 14th position in the Spanish Grand Prix. The Andorran rider, after completing a race with a steady pace, has added six more points to his tally thanks to crossing the finish line within the ‘top-10’.

On September 13th, the MotoE World Cup will return to action at the Gran Premio di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

“The start was quite bad, I lost a lot of positions in the first corner. Then in turn 6 I made a small mistake that made me lose positions, but the good feeling I had with the bike allowed me to climb positions, overtaking cleanly. I got to second, I don’t know if I could catch up with Aegerter or not, but after the start we had a second position and it was very good. It’s a pity that I had a bad race, I tried to be as clean and sporty as possible. But it seems that other drivers didn’t think like me, and that’s how it was. I didn’t see the launch, I don’t know how it happened but we were left with the good race I had and prepared for the next one”.

El Avintia Esponsorama Racing Team ha finalizado el Gran Premio de Andalucía. Xavi Cardelús ha logrado una magnífica 10ª posición tras un fin de semana completo para el andorrano y Eric Granado ha concluido 13º tras ser embestido por un rival a falta de dos vueltas.

El piloto brasileño, que logró el cuarto mejor tiempo en la e-Pole, ha tenido una mala salida que le ha hecho perder tres plazas. Granado ha iniciado una gran remontada que no ha conseguido culminar. A falta de tres vueltas para el final, el piloto de San Paulo ha logrado ascender a la segunda posición y en el intento de alcanzar al líder, Matteo Ferrari ha arruinado su carrera tras arrollarle en la curva 6. Pese a las malas condiciones de su Energica Ego Corsa tras la fuerte caída, Eric Granado ha logrado terminar la carrera sumando tres puntos.

En su segunda carrera en la categoría, Xavi Cardelús ha finalizado en zona de puntos de segunda forma consecutiva tras la 14ª posición lograda en el Gran Premio de España. El piloto andorrano, tras completar una carrera con un ritmo constante, ha sumado seis puntos más en su casillero gracias a cruzar la línea de meta dentro del ‘top-10’.

Será el 13 de septiembre, cuando la Copa del Mundo de MotoE volverá a la acción en el Gran Premio di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini en el Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

“Completado el segundo fin de semana en Jerez con una décima posición. Contento de mis dos primeras carreras de MotoE aunque ha diferencia del pasado domingo hoy me ha costado más en carrera, ha sido más difícil seguir a los pilotos de delante y mantener mi ritmo. Pero contento por el fin de semana en general y con ganas de la siguiente carrera”

“La salida ha sido bastante mala, perdí muchas posiciones en las primera curva. Luego en la curva 6 cometí un pequeño error que me hizo perder posiciones, pero las buenas sensaciones que tenía con la moto me permitía ir escalando posiciones, adelantando limpiamente. Llegue a estar segundo, no se si podría alcanzar a Aegerter o no, pero después de la salida que habíamos tenido una segunda posición estaba muy bien. Una pena que me hayan fastidiado la carrera, yo he intentado ser limpio y deportivo en lo máximo posible. Pero parece que otros pilotos no han pensado como yo, y así ha sido. No he visto el lance, no sé cómo ha pasado pero nos quedamos con la buena carrera que he tenido y preparados para la próxima”

Avintia Esponsorama Racing faces a new week of racing after the successful Spanish Grand Prix. With no time to rest, the MotoE World Cup will take place this weekend for the second consecutive race of the season at the Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit, where the Gran Premio de Andalucía will be held.

El Avintia Esponsorama Racing afronta una nueva semana de carreras tras el exitoso Gran Premio de España. Sin tiempo para descansar, la Copa del Mundo de MotoE disputará este fin de semana la que será la segunda carrera consecutiva de la temporada en el Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto, donde se celebrará el Gran Premio de Andalucía.

Eric Granado, dominador absoluto de la primera cita de la temporada, encara como líder de la categoría el segundo fin de semana de competición. El brasileño, que logró de forma contundente la victoria en la carrera inaugural del campeonato, llega como favorito al trazado jerezano.

Por su parte, Xavi Cardelús, que completó el primer fin de semana en una categoría completamente nueva para él, llega al Gran Premio de Andalucía con un punto más de experiencia, entendiendo mejor la Energica Ego Corsa y conociendo cada vez más el nuevo formato de competición que ofrece la categoría.

Será este viernes cuando los pilotos del Avintia Esponsorama Racing disputen los primeros entrenamientos libres para dar comienzo un Gran Premio de Andalucía el cuál todo el equipo afronta con expectativas muy altas tras el triunfal inicio del campeonato.

“El fin de semana se presenta muy bien, estoy muy motivado y contento después del gran trabajo que hicimos en la primera carrera del año. No veo el momento de volver a pista para continuar trabajando con el equipo. Este fin de semana, aunque sea el mismo circuito, empezamos desde cero, trabajando con mucha concentración y centrándonos en mejorar en los puntos en los que nos falta. Desde el viernes intentaremos preparar la moto lo mejor posible de cara a la carrera del domingo que es lo importante.”
