Moto3 GP de la Rep. Checa – Brno

Vicente Pérez, que hoy ha arrancado en el GP de la República Checa desde la 24ª posición, ha conseguido recortar mucho respecto grupo fuerte de carrera y aunque ha terminado en la 21ª plaza, ha podido mejorar su ritmo considerablemente. En el warm-up de esta mañana el equipo ha dado con la clave para mejorar y en Austria seguirán explorando ese camino.

Tanto el piloto valenciano como el Reale Avintia Academy77 han dado el 100% de su potencial para conseguir un buen resultado en el trazado de Brno. Este fin de semana ha supuesto una suma de experiencia positiva para la siguiente cita, el Gran Premio de Austria, que tendrá lugar del 10 al 12 de agosto, en el Red Bull Ring de Spielberg.

“No ha ido del todo mal pues hemos terminado a menos de doce segundos de la cabeza y no está nada mal. Esta mañana en el warm-up creo que hemos encontrado algo y es una pena no haberlo hecho antes porque al final hemos podido ir bastante rápido. He mejorado el ritmo en ocho décimas respecto a los cronometrados de ayer, así que está claro que funciona. He podido engancharme el grupo y estar ahí, pero luego me he colado y me he hecho un recto. He recuperado y he ganado al grupo que tenía delante, así que estoy satisfecho. Estoy muy motivado para correr en Austria, porque me han dicho que es fácil ir muy rápido.”

Moto3 GP of the Czech Republic – Brno

The Saturday practice and qualifying for the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic was a tough learning experience for Vicente Pérez, because things didn’t work out the way the rider and his team Reale Avintia Academy 77 were hoping, and Pérez had to settle for the 24th position on the starting grid. Nevertheless, rider and team keep holding their heads high and are confident that they have the pace to fight for an acceptable result in the race on Sunday. The rider from Valencia will start from the eighth row on the grid, with the aim to battle within a group of similarly fast riders, get more experience in Grand Prix racing and reach the chequered flag in the 18-lap-race, which will start at 11 a.m.

“Today was a difficult day, the last free practice session as much as the qualifying. I tried everything but it didn’t work out. It was no problem on the team’s side, I simply tried to give a 100 per cent without getting results. I still have to improve in the second and the third sector. The race is tomorrow and we are not defeated yet. I have to get through the first laps, which will have a frantic rhythm, and if I can do that I’ll be fine for the rest of the race as well.”

El sábado de entrenamientos clasificatorios para el Gran Premio de la República Checa no ha ido como Vicente Pérez y el equipo Reale Avintia Academy 77 esperaban y mañana saldrá a carrera desde la 24ª posición de la parrilla. Pero tanto el piloto como el equipo confían en tener ritmo para luchar por un resultado aceptable.

El piloto valenciano saldrá desde la octava línea de parrilla y, aunque es una posición complicada espera poder engancharse al grupo y ganar más experiencia completando las 18 vueltas de la carrera, la cuál dará comienzo mañana a las 11:00.

“Hoy ha sido un día difícil, tanto en los últimos entrenamientos libres como en los cronometrados. Lo he intentado todo y no ha salido bien. No lo achaco a ningún problema del equipo, simplemente he dado el 100% y no he tenido resultados. Tengo que mejorar en el segundo y el tercer parcial. Mañana nos queda la carrera y no me doy por vencido. Hay que aguantar las primeras vueltas, que habrá un gran ritmo y si aguanto las cinco primeras podré con el resto.”

El primer día de entrenamientos libres para el Gran Premio de la República Checa ha sido bastante positivo para Vicente Pérez y el equipo Reale Avintia Academy 77. El valenciano ha ido muy rápido por la mañana en su primera toma de contacto con el trazado de Brno y con un tiempo de 2’10.585 ha terminado en la 13ª posición a 1.3 segundos del más rápido.

Vicente y el equipo han comenzado con muchas ganas por la tarde, pero nada de lo que han probado ha funcionado como esperaban y ha rodado bastante más lento que en el FP1.

Para mañana esperan volver a estar entre los 15 más rápidos. También tienen que trabajar para mejorar el ritmo de carrera con el objetivo de estrenar, el domingo, el casillero de puntos de Vicente Pérez en el Campeonato del Mundo de Moto3.

“Hoy ha sido un día de cara y cruz. En el FP1 hemos ido bastante fuerte, pero por la tarde en el FP2 con más calor hemos probado varias cosas que no han funcionado como pensábamos. Pero tenemos varias ideas para mejorar mañana y vamos a apretar porque creo que aquí tenemos posibilidades para hacerlo muy bien, porque es un circuito que se adapta bastante a mi estilo de pilotaje.”

Reale Avintia Academy 77 – GP of the Czech Republic – Brno

The first day of practice for the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic went quite well for Vicente Pérez and his team Reale Avintia Academy 77. On his first ever session on the Brno track, the young rider from Valencia was very fast and reached 13^th place, with a lap time of 2’10.585, just 1.3 seconds behind the fastest rider.

Vicente and his team had a lot of confidence for the second free practice session in the afternoon, but nothing they tried worked as expected and their lap times were quite a bit slower than in FP1.

For Saturday, Vicente and his team set their goal to break into the Top 15 again. They will also work on race pace, with the goal of shining on Sunday and battling for some World Championship points.

“Today was a mix of good and bad. In FP1, we were pretty strong, but in FP2 with more heat in the afternoon, we tried different things that didn’t work as we had expected. But we have more ideas about how to improve tomorrow and we will push as hard as we can, because this track suits my riding style and I am convinced of our chances to do well here at Brno.”

Reale Avintia Academy 77 – GP de la Rep. Txeca – Brno

L’equip Reale Avintia Academy 77 i Vicente Pérez ja estan camí de la República Txeca per començar a Brno la segona meitat de la temporada, encara que per al valencià, realment serà la seva segona carrera al Mundial, ja que va entrar en l’equip com a substitut de Livi Loi en l’última prova disputada a Alemanya.

Per a Vicente el circuit txec de 5,3 quilòmetres serà un nou desafiament amb les seves contínues pujades desnivells, xicanes i una amplada de pista que, en Moto3 permet moltes traçades.
El pilot de Cullera comptarà en amb algunes peces d’evolució en la seva KTM que provarà per primera vegada el primer entrenament lliure de divendres, el FP1. Com a Sachsenring l’objectiu serà aprendre molt i millorar per lluitar pels punts diumenge.

“Arribo a Brno molt motivat i amb moltíssimes ganes d’aprendre. Per a aquesta cursa tindrem un nou xassís de KTM que, crec que em pot ajudar bastant. Estic desitjant que arribi el divendres per començar a treballar amb l’equip. La meva meta serà aprendre tot el que pugui i diumenge intentar lluitar per entrar en els punts, així arribarem a Àustria amb més confiança.”

Reale Avintia Academy 77 – Czech GP– Brno

Reale Avintia Academy 77 and Vicente Pérez are on their way to the Czech Republic to start the second half of the season in the Moto3 class. For the rider from Valencia, this will be only his second Grand Prix race of the season, as he has replaced Livio Loi in the team since the last race in Germany.

For Vicente, the 5.3 km Czech track will be a special new challenge, with its up and down hill sections, chicanes and a circuit width that provides the Moto3 riders with many different lines to choose from.

The rider from Cullera will also have some evolutions parts from KTM to test in the first free practice session on Friday.

Just as at the Sachsenring Grand Prix in mid-July, his target is to learn and to improve and maybe to fight for the points on Sunday.

“I go to Brno very motivated and eager to learn more. For this race, we will have a new chassis from KTM that will be helpful for sure. I’m looking forward to jump on my bike on Friday and to start working with the team. My goal is to learn as much as I can and try to get some points on Sunday. If I could do that, this would give as a boost of confidence for the next round in Austria.”

Reale Avintia Academy 77 – GP de la Rep. Checa – Brno

El equipo Reale Avintia Academy 77 y Vicente Pérez ya están camino de la República Checa para comenzar en Brno la segunda mitad de la temporada, aunque para el valenciano, realmente será su segunda carrera en el Mundial, ya que entró en el equipo como sustituto de Livio Loi en la última prueba disputada en Alemania.

Para Vicente el circuito checo de 5,3 kilómetros será un nuevo desafío con sus continuas subidas desniveles, chicanes y un ancho de pista que, en Moto3 permite muchas trazadas.

El piloto de Cullera contará en con algunas piezas de evolución en su KTM que probará por primera vez el primer entrenamiento libre del viernes, el FP1. Como en Sachsenring el objetivo será aprender mucho y mejorar para luchar por los puntos el domingo.

“Llego a Brno muy motivado y con muchísimas ganas de aprender. Para esta carrera tendremos un nuevo chasis de KTM que, creo que me puede ayudar bastante. Estoy deseando que llegue el viernes para empezar a trabajar con el equipo. Mi meta será aprender todo lo que pueda y el domingo intentar luchar por entrar en los puntos, así llegaremos a Austria con más confianza.”

Moto3 GP of Germany – Sachsenring

It was an unlucky debut for Vicente Pérez and Reale Avintia Academy 77 team at the German Grand Prix. The Spaniard was forced to retire following some electrical issues in his KTM. Reale Avintia Academy 77 staff together with KTM engineers will try to find the problem to avoid it in the future.

It was a tricky weekend for Pérez, but the rookie was also able to learn a lot and for sure he will use this valuable experience in the next races.

Moto3 World Championship will enjoy now a two week break, and Vicente Pérez and the whole Reale Avintia Academy 77 team will charge their batteries to come back stronger in the next race, the Czech Republic Grand Prix, that will start in Brno from August 3^rd.

“I did a horrible star and that’s why I was not able to go with the group in the first laps of the race. I was in a group of four riders fighting and after several laps changing positions I was battling to lead the group. But suddenly, my bike stopped, like it happened during the warm-up this morning. We don’t know the cause of this failure, but I’m sure that my team will find it out. It was a though weekend, but we improved everyday and I’m sure that at Brno I’ll be able to show my real potential. I want to thank the team for their hard work over the weekend.”
