Niccolò Antonelli y Elia Bartolini arrancarán la carrera del Motul TT Assen en 7ª y 16ª posición respectivamente tras una sesión clasificatoria positiva para el Avintia Esponsorama Moto3.

Ambos pilotos han hecho una gran actuación esta mañana durante el tercer entrenamiento libre y han conseguido una plaza directa para la Q2. En clasificación, Antonelli ha marcado un mejor registro de 1:41.667, tiempo el cual le permitirá arrancar desde la tercera fila. Por su parte, Bartolini con un tiempo de 1:42.526, saldrá 16º, su mejor posición desde su debut en el campeonato del mundo.

Mañana a las 11:00 dará comienzo la carrera de Moto3, donde los pilotos del Avintia Esponsorama Moto3 tratarán de cruzar la línea de meta con el mejor resultado posible.

“Estoy bastante contento con el día porque hemos dado un gran paso adelante. Pido disculpas porque en la clasificación no he podido cerrar una buena vuelta y no he podido acabar cerca de los primeros. De todas formas, la moto va muy bien y saldremos en la 16ª posición, que es un buen resultado para mañana. Espero tener una buena carrera.”

Enea Bastianini and Luca Marini will start the Motul TT Assen in 19th and 17th position respectively after having to dispute the Q1.

Both riders had a difficult session and unfortunately couldn’t finish in the top two positions that would have allowed them to access to Q2. Bastianini closed his best lap with a time of 1:33.404 and Luca Marini with a time of 1:33.321.

The points of the Motul TT Assen will be given in the race that will take place tomorrow at 14:00 at the mythical Assen track.

We are still working in this direction, we are missing something in the fast parts, all the Ducatis are struggling, and we hope that some of them will find a modification to have more stability. Enea Bastianini y Luca Marini arrancarán el Motul TT Assen en 19ª y 17ª posición respectivamente tras tener que disputar la Q1.

Ambos pilotos han tenido una sesión complicada y desafortunadamente no han podido terminar entre las dos primeras posiciones que les hubiera permitido acceder a la Q2. Bastianini ha cerrado su mejor vuelta con un tiempo de 1:33.404 y Luca Marini con un registro de 1:33.321.

Los puntos del Motul TT Assen se repartirán en la carrera que se disputará mañana a las 14:00 en el mítico trazado de Assen.

“Ha sido un día difícil. Desafortunadamente las cosas no han salido como esperábamos, así que tendremos que trabajar para mañana porque hay algo que no funciona y tenemos que entender el por qué. Mañana saldré 19º y daré lo mejor de mí para conseguir un buen resultado.”

“En general ha sido una buena clasificación y lo estamos haciendo bien, siempre intentamos sacar el máximo de nuestro potencial. Seguimos trabajando en esta dirección, nos falta algo en las partes rápidas, todas las Ducatis están luchando y esperamos que algunas encuentren una modificación para tener más estabilidad. Estamos creciendo, estoy contento, el nivel es muy alto, las motos están en constante evolución, pero ladrillo a ladrillo estamos ahí. Estoy muy contento con la relación con el equipo y me siento bien.”

The Avintia Esponsorama riders have completed their first laps on the Assen track after the first two free practice sessions of the Motul TT Assen with rain as the protagonist during the afternoon.

Xavi Cardelús ended the first day with a good feeling and was fast from the first free practice. The Andorran rider clocked a best time of 1:44.285 in the afternoon session, putting him in ninth position in the combined and close to the front riders.

André Pires was able to complete his first laps at Assen, a completely new circuit for him. The Portuguese rider has been working to improve and find the speed that will allow him to get closer to the rest of his riders. Pires set a time of 1:49.327.

Tomorrow in Assen there will be the third free practice and before the Dutch Grand Prix qualifying.

“First positive day, 9th position in the combined and we are not too far from the top 3. We will see if we can change some things tomorrow to find the speed we are missing, as we can be a bit quicker in a couple of parts of the circuit.”

“It was a good Friday and I’ve been working on the adaptation. The track is very fast and I have never felt so much speed on the MotoE. In FP2 the weather conditions were not the best due to the rain, but I was able to improve my time. Now I must work to keep improving and get closer to the rest of the riders. I feel comfortable with the bike and in this circuit. I’m going to give it my all.”

Los pilotos del Avintia Esponsorama han sumado sus primeras vueltas en el trazado de Assen tras disputar los dos primeros entrenamientos libres del Motul TT Assen con la lluvia como protagonista durante la tarde.

Xavi Cardelús ha concluido la primera jornada con un buen ‘feeling’ y se ha mostrado rápido desde el primer entrenamiento libre. El andorrano ha logrado un mejor registro de 1:44.285 en la sesión de la tarde que le coloca en la 9ª posición en la combinada y cerca de los primeros clasificados.

André Pires ha podido completar sus primeros giros en Assen, un circuito completamente nuevo para él. El portugués ha trabajado para mejorar y encontrar la velocidad que le permita acercarse al resto de rivales. Pires ha marcado un tiempo de 1:49.327.

Mañana en Assen se disputará el tercer entrenamiento libre y posteriormente la clasificación del Gran Premio de los Países Bajos.

“Primer día positivo, 9ª posición en la combinada y no estamos demasiado lejos del Top 3. Veremos si mañana podemos cambiar algunas cosas para acabar de encontrar la velocidad que nos falta ya que en un par de partes del circuito podemos ser algo más rápidos.”

“Ha sido un buen viernes y me estoy adaptando. El circuito es muy rápido y nunca había sentido tanta velocidad encima de la MotoE. En el FP2 las condiciones meteorológicas no han sido las mejores debido a la lluvia, pero he podido mejorar mi tiempo. Ahora toca trabajar para seguir mejorando y acercarme al resto de pilotos. Me siento cómodo con la moto y en este circuito. Voy a darlo todo.”

The Avintia Esponsorama Moto3 team had its first taste of the Assen circuit this Friday after the first two free practice sessions of the Motul TT Assen.

Niccolò Antonelli ended a successfully first day in the Netherlands after finishing 7th in the combined session with a time of 1:42.358. The Italian set his best time in the morning session, as a few drops of rain fell on the track in the second free practice.

Elia Bartolini spent the first day at Assen working on his adaptation to a new circuit for him, where he was happy and comfortable on his KTM from the start of the day. With a best time of 1:43.721 set in the second free practice, the Italian rider is 25th in the combined standings.

The third free practice before qualifying for the Motul TT Assen will start tomorrow at 9:00 am.

El Avintia Esponsorama Moto3 ha tenido este viernes su primera toma de contacto con el circuito de Assen tras disputar los dos primeros entrenamientos libres del Motul TT Assen.

Niccolò Antonelli ha cerrado satisfactoriamente el primer día en los Países Bajos tras finalizar 7º en la clasificación combinada con un tiempo de 1:42.358. El italiano ha marcado su mejor registro en la sesión matinal, ya que en el segundo entrenamiento libre han caído algunas gotas de agua sobre el trazado.

Elia Bartolini ha dedicado el primer día en Assen para trabajar en la adaptación en un circuito nuevo para él, donde se ha mostrado contento y cómodo encima de su KTM desde el inicio del día. Con un mejor tiempo de 1:43.721 logrado en el segundo entrenamiento libre, el piloto italiano es el 25º clasificado en la combinada.

Mañana a partir de las 9:00 dará comienzo el tercer entrenamiento libre previo a la clasificación del Motul TT Assen.

No he aprovechado bien las oportunidades y desafortunadamente ha llovido en el segundo entrenamiento libre. Seguro que mañana daremos otro paso adelante.”

The Avintia Esponsorama and the Sky VR46 Avintia riders have completed the first two free practice sessions of the Motul TT Assen at ‘The Cathedral’.

Bastianini and Marini ended the first day in the Netherlands in 20th and 21st position respectively. Both riders were affected by the rain during the second free practice, which made it impossible to improve their times in the afternoon.

Tomorrow at 10:00 the third free practice of the Motul TT Assen will start, where Bastianini and Marini will have one last chance to get a position that will allow them to go directly to Q2.

“It was a good day. It’s a very tricky and demanding track for MotoGP. In the morning, the bike was moving a lot and we had to work to make some changes and I think we made a step forward between FP1 and FP2, so I’m happy. However, there is still a lot of work to do to get to where I want to be. In the afternoon it rained in the second half of the session, so it compromised FP2 a little bit, but even in the wet I had a good feeling.”

“Assen is a really difficult track with the Ducati, we all suffered a bit, but we can have fun. In FP2, due to the rain and the yellow flags at the start, we couldn’t do a lot of laps and I couldn’t set a fast lap. In general, we started quite well, we are missing something in the fast corners, but I’m sure we will solve this problem as we keep adding laps. In the rain I felt good grip and we can do well in these conditions.”

El Avintia Esponsorama y el Sky VR46 Avintia han disputado este viernes los dos primeros entrenamientos libres del Motul TT Assen en ‘La Catedral’.

Bastianini y Marini han cerrado el primer día en los Países Bajos en 20ª y 21ª posición respectivamente. Ambos pilotos se han visto perjudicados por la lluvia que ha hecho acto de presencia durante el segundo entrenamiento libre y que ha imposibilitado mejorar sus registros.

Mañana a partir de las 10:00 dará comienzo el tercer entrenamiento libre del Motul TT Assen, donde los Bastianini y Marini tendrán una última oportunidad para conseguir una posición que les permita acceder directamente a la Q2.

“Ha sido un buen día. Es una pista muy complicada y exigente con la MotoGP. Por la mañana, la moto se movía mucho y hemos tenido que trabajar para hacer algunos cambios y creo que hemos dado un paso adelante entre el FP1 y el FP2, así que estoy feliz. De todas formas, todavía hay mucho trabajo para llegar a donde quiero estar. Por la tarde ha llovido en la segunda mitad de la sesión, por lo que ha comprometido un poco el FP2, pero incluso en mojado he tenido buenas sensaciones.”

“Assen es una pista realmente difícil con la Ducati, todos hemos sufrido un poco, pero podemos divertirnos. En la FP2, debido a la lluvia y a las banderas amarillas, no hemos podido rodar mucho, y no he podido cerrar una vuelta rápida. En general hemos empezado bastante bien, nos falta algo en las curvas rápidas, pero estoy seguro de que resolveremos este problema a medida que sigamos sumando vueltas. Con la lluvia he sentido un buen agarre y podemos hacerlo bien en estas condiciones.”

Avintia Esponsorama lands this weekend to race the fourth round of the MotoE World Cup, the Motul TT Assen. It will be the first time that the electric category completes a weekend in ‘The Cathedral’.

Xavi Cardelús arrives in the Netherlands after an unlucky weekend in Barcelona. Despite this, the Andorran rider has been showing a great progression this season, being faster, stronger, and more comfortable on the Energica Ego Corsa.

André Pires is looking forward to a new challenge for him, with the main objective of continuing to accumulate laps and learning in the category. The Portuguese rider is 15th in the overall standings with 11 points.

Tomorrow at 11:50am the Motul TT Assen will start with the first free practice session of the MotoE class.

“A new MotoE weekend and a new circuit for this category. We will see how we adapt and how fast we can be here. I’m happy to be back at Assen and it’s a circuit I think we can get a good result. I hope to have better luck as we are coming from three races without getting what we need as a team, I think we are working well and we deserve better results. We will work 100% and soon or later our reward will come.”

“I’m happy to be at Assen, it’s a circuit with a lot of history. I am very motivated, ready to work with the team and try to improve from the last race. It’s a new circuit for me, it’s going to be difficult, but we’ll fight until the end.”
