El campeonato del mundo de MotoGP aterriza este fin de semana en el Red Bull Ring – Spielberg, donde Enea Bastianini y Luca Marini disputarán la 10ª cita del calendario, el Michelin Grand Prix of Styria.

El Red Bull Ring es un circuito que Ducati se ha adaptado a la perfección durante los últimos años y esta temporada albergará dos grandes premios consecutivos. Un total de 4,318 kilómetros, formado por 10 curvas y con grandes pendientes hacen de Spielberg un trazado muy característico.

Bastianini y Marini se sitúan actualmente en la clasificación general en 16ª y 20ª posición respectivamente. Ambos pilotos, que han completado una gran primera mitad de año de aprendizaje y adaptación, se muestran motivados para afrontar el fin de semana en Austria tras el parón veraniego.

El viernes a partir de las 9:55 dará comienzo el primer entrenamiento libre de la categoría reina del Gran Premio de Styria.

“Llegamos a Austria, un circuito que me gusta mucho. No sé cómo será con la MotoGP, pero estoy lleno de energía. Durante el parón he intentado relajarme pero también mantenerme en forma, porque MotoGP es una categoría muy complicada y me gustaría tener una adaptación inmediata. La Ducati es una moto que se adapta perfectamente a esta pista y que durante los últimos años ha funcionado muy bien, por lo tanto, daremos todo lo posible para obtener el mejor resultado posible.”

“Estoy contento de volver a competir, ha sido un parón veraniego muy largo. No veo la hora de volver al trabajo y a la moto. Llegamos a Austria, un circuito muy especial, con pocas curvas y que me gusta. Ducati siempre lo ha hecho bien aquí, y nuestro objetivo es acercarnos a los líderes y sumar puntos. Vamos a correr dos carreras seguidas en este circuito, y estoy seguro de que en la segunda semana la diferencia será aún menor, lo que es otra razón para trabajar bien desde el primer GP.”

Avintia Esponsorama completed the Motul TT Assen, fourth round of the MotoE World Cup, with Cardelús 12th and Pires 17th.

Xavi Cardelús had an unfortunate E-Pole as his lap was cancelled and he started from the back of the grid. After several unlucky races, the Andorran rider made a great comeback and in only 7 laps he was able to move up to 12th position.

André Pires missed out the points places by just two positions. The Portuguese rider made a step forward compared to previous races with a much more competitive pace. Despite this, Pires had to settle for 17th position.

The next MotoE World Cup Grand Prix will be held at the Red Bull Ring, which will host the Motorrad Grand Prix von Osterreich on 13, 14 and 15 August.

“It wasn’t the race I wanted, but we knew it was going to be difficult starting from the last positions. It wasn’t a bad position, but probably if we had started from the middle of the grid, it would have been easier. We will keep working for the next one.”

“I’m happy and it’s a circuit I liked. It wasn’t my best position, but it was the race where I had the best pace. I felt good with the bike, and we made a step forward. Now it’s time to work for the next race and to be closer to the rest.”

El Avintia Esponsorama ha completado el Motul TT Assen, cuarta cita de la Copa del Mundo de MotoE, con Cardelús 12º y Pires 17º.

Xavi Cardelús tuvo una desafortunada E-Pole ya que su vuelta fue cancelada y ha partido desde la parte trasera de la parrilla. Tras varias carreras con mala suerte, el piloto andorrano ha ejecutado una gran remontada y en tan sólo 7 vueltas ha sido de capaz de alzarse hasta la 12ª posición.

André Pires ha quedado fuera de la zona de puntos por tan sólo dos posiciones. El portugués ha dado un paso adelante respecto a las carreras anteriores con un ritmo de carrea mucho más competitivo. Pese a ello, finalmente Pires se ha tenido que conformar con la 17ª posición.

El próximo gran premio de la Copa del Mundo de MotoE se disputará en el Red Bull Ring, circuito que albergará el Motorrad Grand Prix von Osterreich durante el 13, 14 y 15 de agosto.

“Estoy contento y es un circuito que me ha gustado. No ha sido mi mejor posición, pero ha sido la carrera que he tenido mejor ritmo. Me he sentido bien con la moto y hemos dado un paso adelante. Ahora toca trabajar para la siguiente carrera y poder estar más cerca del resto.”

Avintia Esponsorama Moto3 completed the Motul TT Assen race where Antonelli was 14th and Bartolini 16th.

Niccolò Antonelli had an unlucky race. With 13 laps to go, when he was fighting with the front group, the Italian rider was involved in an incident and couldn’t avoid a crash that made him lose some positions. Despite this, Antonelli picked up his bike and finally crossed the finish line in a creditable 14th position.

Elia Bartolini was just outside the top 15. Despite showing a good pace, it was not enough to finish in the points, and he had to settle for 16th position.

The Avintia Esponsorama Moto3 will be back in action from August 6th to 8th for the Michelin Grand Prix of Styria at the Red Bull Ring.

“I can’t say I’m happy today. I had a touch at the start of the race, and everything was under control until a rider in front of me braked and I did not understand why. I also had to brake and the rider behind me pulled me off. I am sorry because we were doing a good job, we were strong especially on used tires and I think we could have had a good result. It’s a pity, but we’ll come back stronger next time.”

ELIA BARTOLINI – P16
“I’m not happy with the race because I didn’t have a good pace and unfortunately, I didn’t stay with the leading group. We made a step forward and I was trying to recover positions after I made a mistake at Turn 1. I managed to get to the front of the group so I’m partly happy. It’s a pity I wasn’t with the leading group.”

El Avintia Esponsorama Moto3 ha completado la carrera del Motul TT Assen donde Antonelli ha sido 14º y Bartolini 16º.

Niccolò Antonelli ha tenido una carrera desafortunada. A falta de 13 vueltas para el final, cuando estaba luchando con el grupo delantero, el piloto italiano se ha visto envuelto en un incidente y no ha podido evitar una caída que le ha hecho perder varias posiciones. Pese a ello, Antonelli ha levantado la moto y finalmente ha cruzado la línea de meta en una meritoria 14ª posición.

Elia Bartolini se ha quedado a las puertas del top 15. Pese a mostrar un buen ritmo, no ha sido suficiente para finalizar en la zona de puntos y se ha tenido que conformar con la 16ª posición.

El Avintia Esponsorama Moto3 volverá a la acción del 6 al 8 de agosto para disputar el Michelin Grand Prix of Styria en el Red Bull Ring.

“Hoy no puedo decir que estoy contento. He tenido un toque al inicio de la carrera y todo estaba bajo control hasta que un piloto delante de mí ha frenado y no he entendido el por qué. Yo también he tenido que frenar y el piloto de atrás me ha tirado. Lo siento porque estábamos haciendo un buen trabajo, hemos sido fuertes especialmente con neumáticos usados ​​y creo que podríamos haber conseguido un buen resultado. Es una lástima, pero en la siguiente volveremos más fuertes.”

ELIA BARTOLINI – P16
“No estoy muy contento con la carrera porque no he tenido un buen ritmo y desafortunadamente no me he mantenido con el grupo de cabeza. Hemos dado un paso adelante y estaba intentando recuperar posiciones después de cometer un error en la curva 1. He logrado ponerme al frente del grupo así que en parte estoy feliz. Lástima no haber estado con el primer grupo.”

Avintia Esponsorama and Sky VR46 Avintia completed the Dutch Grand Prix race, with Bastianini finishing 15th and Luca Marini 18th.

Enea Bastianini, who started 19th, set a good pace that allowed him to move up positions and cross the finish line in the top 15. The Italian rider adds one more point, placing him in 16th position in the overall standings.

Luca Marini did not find a good pace on his Ducati Desmosedici GP19 and had to settle for 18th position in a difficult race for him. The Sky VR46 Avintia rider is currently 20th in the standings with 14 points.

With more than a month to go without racing, Avintia Esponsorama and Sky VR46 Avintia will be back in action at the Red Bull Ring from August 6th to 8th, where the Michelin Grand Prix of Styria will take place.

“It was a good race, but I spent a lot of energy, and it was hard to get to the end. In the early stages I lost some time, but when I relaxed and let go, I felt more comfortable. We didn’t have a bad race, we probably need to improve a bit to find the limit of this bike. Now we have a few weeks to rest and to train because MotoGP is very tiring, both physically and mentally.”

“Today I struggled a lot. After free practice I chose the medium tire for the race, I felt confident, but with less grip it was not the best option. Like the other Ducatis, I had a lot of movement on the bike under acceleration that I had to manage. A shame and something to work on for the next races. In FP4 I didn’t feel comfortable on the hard, but with the medium I was able to ride as I wanted. Today with the wind it was more difficult. It’s time to enjoy a few days of relaxation and we’ll get back to work in Austria. I’m looking forward to it.”

El Avintia Esponsorama y el Sky VR46 Avintia han completado la carrera del Gran Premio de los Países Bajos, donde Bastianini ha acabado 15º y Luca Marini 18º.

Enea Bastianini, que arrancaba 19º, ha impuesto un buen ritmo que le ha permitido ascender posiciones y cruzar la línea de meta en el top 15. De esta manera, el piloto italiano suma un punto más en su casillero, colocándole en la 16ª posición de la clasificación general.

Luca Marini no ha encontrado un buen ritmo con su Ducati Desmosedici GP19 y se ha tenido que conformar con la 18ª posición en una carrera complicada para él. El piloto del Sky VR46 Avintia es actualmente 20º en la clasificación con 14 puntos.

“Ha sido una buena carrera, pero he gastado mucha energía y ha sido duro llegar al final. En los primeros compases he perdido algo de tiempo, pero cuando me he relajado y soltado me he sentido más cómodo. No hemos hecho una mala carrera, seguramente necesitamos mejorar un poco para encontrar el límite de esta moto. Ahora tenemos unas semanas para descansar y también entrenar porque la MotoGP es muy agotadora, tanto física como mentalmente.”

“Hoy me ha costado mucho. Después de los entrenamientos libres elegí el neumático medio para la carrera, me sentía seguro, pero con menos agarre no era la mejor opción. Al igual que las otras Ducatis, tenía mucho movimiento en la moto al acelerar que tenía que gestionar. Una pena y algo en lo que trabajar para las próximas carreras. En el FP4 no me sentí cómodo con el duro, pero con el medio pude pilotar como quería. Hoy con viento era más difícil. Toca disfrutar de unos días de relax y volveremos al trabajo en Austria. Estoy deseando que llegue.”

The Avintia Esponsorama Racing riders completed the E-Pole of the Motul TT Assen, where André Pires finished 15th. Xavi Cardelús will start from the back of the grid due to a lap cancellation.

Los pilotos del Avintia Esponsorama Racing han completado la E-Pole del Motul TT Assen, donde André Pires ha finalizado 15º. Xavi Cardelús saldrá desde atrás de la parrilla debido a una cancelación de su vuelta.

Pires ha cerrado su vuelta con un tiempo de 1:48.799. El piloto portugués ha podido mejorar sus sensaciones respecto a ayer y ha logrado una buena posición para luchar por los puntos en la carrera de mañana.

Por su parte, Xavi Cardelús arrancará la carrera 16º. El piloto andorrano se ha mostrado fuerte durante todo el fin de semana, pero desafortunadamente en su vuelta de la E-Pole ha sobrepasado los límites de la pista, por lo que su vuelta ha sido cancelada.

Mañana a las 15:30 se disputará la carrera del Motul TT Assen, la cuarta del calendario de la Copa del Mundo de MotoE.

“No ha sido un buen día para mí y es el primer error que cometo en una E-Pole. Me he ido largo en una curva y me he salido de la pista. Niccolò Antonelli and Elia Bartolini will start the Motul TT Assen race in 7th and 16th position respectively after a positive qualifying session for the Avintia Esponsorama Moto3 team.

Both riders put in a strong performance this morning during the third free practice and secured a direct place in Q2. In qualifying, Antonelli set a best time of 1:41.667, which will allow him to start from the third row. Bartolini, with a time of 1:42.526, will start 16th, his best position since his debut in the World Championship.

Tomorrow at 11:00 the Moto3 race will start, where the Avintia Esponsorama Moto3 riders will try to cross the finish line with the best possible result.
