El Avintia Esponsorama Moto3 ha completado con éxito la clasificación del Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland en el circuito de Sachsenring.

Antonelli ha conseguido una buena 7ª posición para la carrera de mañana. El italiano ha cerrado su mejor vuelta con un tiempo de 1:27.398.

En su estreno en Sachsenring, Bartolini partirá desde la novena línea de la parrilla de salida tras marcar un mejor registro de 1:28.756.

La carrera de Moto3 del Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland dará comienzo mañana a las 11:00.

“Hoy ha ido bien, estoy bastante contento siendo 7º y es una buena posición para mañana. La clasificación ha sido un poco complicada ya que hay algunos pilotos que son un poco más rápidos que nosotros, pero en cualquier caso estamos en bastante buena forma, así que mañana intentaremos hacer una buena carrera.”

Luca Marini and Enea Bastianini finished the Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland qualifying in 14th and 15th position respectively for the race.

During Q1, both riders missed out on a place in Q2. Marini set a best time of 1:20.864, just 2 tenths slower than the second placed rider, while Bastianini stopped the clock at 1:20.953.

Tomorrow at 14:00 the Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland race will take place, where Marini and Bastianini will fight from the first lap to cross the finish line with points.

“It was a good day. This morning I didn’t set my best time and I didn’t understand why I couldn’t push like I wanted to. However, in qualifying I was able to set a good time and I felt strong. We still have some work to do, but I feel ready for tomorrow’s race.”

“I think we have to be satisfied with this P14, it’s a good result for us and we are only half a second off pole time. We have done a good job with the team, we are fast, we have reduced the gap to the leaders and tomorrow we have a very tough race ahead of us. It will be difficult on the medium tires, we are all very close and it will be crucial to start well and manage the first few laps.”

Luca Marini y Enea Bastianini han finalizado la clasificación del Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland, donde han logrado la 14ª y 15ª posición respectivamente para la carrera.

Durante la Q1, ambos pilotos se han quedado a las puertas de acceder a la Q2. Marini ha marcado un mejor tiempo de 1:20.864, tan sólo 2 décimas mas lento que el segundo clasificado, mientras que Bastianini ha parado el cronómetro con un registro de 1:20.953.

Mañana a las 14:00 se disputará la carrera del Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland, donde Marini y Bastianini lucharán desde la primera vuelta para cruzar la línea de meta con puntos.

“Creo que tenemos que estar satisfechos con esta P14, es un buen resultado para nosotros y sólo estamos a medio segundo del tiempo de la pole. Hemos hecho un buen trabajo con el equipo, somos rápidos, hemos reducido la distancia con los líderes y mañana nos espera una carrera muy dura. Será difícil con los neumáticos medios, estamos todos muy cerca y será crucial salir bien y gestionar las primeras vueltas.”

The Avintia Esponsorama Moto3 riders have completed the first day of the Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland at the Sachsenring circuit with the first and second free practice.

Niccolò Antonelli finished 12th in the combined times with a best time of 1’27.699, which puts him in direct access positions for Q2 with the third free practice still to come.

Elia Bartolini made his debut on a new track for him. The Italian dedicated the first day of the weekend to the set-up and adaptation to the German circuit. His best time was 1’29.617, achieved in the morning session.

The action will resume tomorrow at 9:00 with the third free practice before qualifying of the Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland.

“Today didn’t go very well as we didn’t manage to make a step forward this afternoon. I’m not very happy, but fortunately we know what we need to improve, and we’ll try to do better tomorrow.”

Los pilotos del Avintia Esponsorama Moto3 han completado el primer día del Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland en el circuito de Sachsenring tras disputar el primer y el segundo entrenamiento libre.

Niccolò Antonelli ha concluido 12º en los tiempos combinados con un mejor tiempo de 1’27.699, lo que le coloca en posiciones de acceso directo a la Q2 a falta del tercer entrenamiento libre.

Por su parte, Elia Bartolini ha debutado en un trazado nuevo para él. El italiano ha dedicado la primera jornada del fin de semana en la puesta a punto y adaptación al circuito germano. Su mejor registro ha sido de 1’29.617, logrado en la sesión matinal.

La acción se retomará mañana a las 9:00 con los terceros entrenamientos libres previos a la clasificación del Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland.

Luca Marini and Enea Bastianini have finished the first day of the Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix, where both riders had their first contact with the Sachsenring circuit aboard their Ducati Desmosedici GP19.

Marini was 18th in the combined free practice with a best time of 1’21.595. Bastianini ended the first day in 19th position after setting a time of 1’21.702.

The third free practice of the Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix will start tomorrow at 9:55.

“It was a difficult day, however, we got some positive things out of it and we have a good pace. This morning I was able to try different tires, but I didn’t feel comfortable with the hard one. My fast lap wasn’t very good and also some other riders bothered me and didn’t allow me to give 100%. I am sure that tomorrow we will achieve better times and we will try to give our best.”

“It was not an easy day, we had some problems, but the feeling was not bad at all. What we did in the Barcelona test worked here, I felt good on the bike and I rode as I like. In FP2 I had a problem shortly after the start, which made me lose feeling with the rear. I went back out on the soft tire, but I couldn’t get the most out of it because I had the medium tire in front, whereas I prefer the hard one. I tried to push anyway because the top 10 was possible, but I crashed. The soft held out for about three laps, so I tried to make the most of it on my fifth attempt. I’m really sorry for the team because they’ll have a lot of work to do tonight.”

Luca Marini y Enea Bastianini han superado el primer día del Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix, donde ambos pilotos han tenido su primera toma de contacto con el circuito de Sachsenring a bordo de sus Ducati Desmosedici GP19.

Marini ha sido 18º en los tiempos combinados con un mejor registro de 1’21.595. Por su parte, Bastianini ha concluido la primera jornada en 19ª posición tras marcar un tiempo de 1’21.702.

Mañana a partir de las 9:55 arrancará el tercer entrenamiento libre del Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix.

“Ha sido un día difícil, sin embargo, hemos sacado cosas positivas y tenemos un buen ritmo. Esta mañana he podido probar diferentes neumáticos, pero no me he acabado de sentir cómodo con el duro. Mi vuelta rápida no ha sido muy buena además de que algún que otro piloto me ha molestado y no me ha permitido dar el 100%. Estoy seguro de que mañana se lograrán mejores tiempos y trataremos de dar nuestro máximo.”

“No ha sido un día fácil, hemos tenido algunos problemas, pero las sensaciones no han sido nada malas. Lo que hicimos en el test de Barcelona ha funcionado aquí, me he sentido bien sobre la moto y he pilotado como me gusta. En la FP2 he tenido un problema poco después de la salida, lo que me ha hecho perder sensaciones con la parte trasera. He vuelto a salir con el blando, pero no he podido sacarle el máximo partido porque tenía el neumático medio delante, mientras que yo prefiero el duro. He intentado presionar de todos modos porque el top 10 estaba al alcance de la mano, pero me he ido al suelo. El blando ha aguantado unas tres vueltas, así que he tratado de aprovecharlo al máximo en mi quinto intento. Lo siento mucho por el equipo, porque tendrán mucho trabajo esta noche.”

The MotoGP World Championship lands this weekend at the Sachsenring circuit for the Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deuchtsland, the 8th round of the calendar.

Enea Bastianini and Luca Marini, who achieved a positive result at the Catalunya Grand Prix, will be looking forward to continuing scoring important points for the team in Germany.

“We arrive at Sachsenring, a track where we were not at last year because of the coronavirus. Anyway, it is a track that I have normally been good at, especially with the Moto3. With the Moto2 I was only able to race once, and we’ll see what it will be like to be here on a MotoGP bike.”

“Sachsenring is a very special track, but with its charm and with MotoGP it will be even more. The track was already narrow and small with the Moto2, and now I’m curious to see what effect it will have on the Ducati. It’s going to be a difficult weekend, and I think the differences will be very small. The circuit is only a few kilometers long, so we will only be separated by a few tenths of a second, and this year the class is at an extremely high level, with differences of less than a second between first and twentieth. This is another reason why it will be fascinating. We will start with all the positives we picked up from the Barcelona test to keep growing.”

El Campeonato del Mundo de MotoGP aterriza este fin de semana en el circuito de Sachsenring para disputar el Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deuchtsland, la 8ª cita del calendario.

Enea Bastianini y Luca Marini, que lograron un resultado muy positivo en el Gran Premio de Catalunya, quieren seguir con la buena racha que atraviesan en Alemania y así poder seguir sumando puntos para el equipo.

La acción dará comienzo el viernes a las 9:55 con los primeros entrenamientos libres del Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deuchtsland.

“Llegamos a Sachsenring, un circuito donde no estuvimos el año pasado debido al coronavirus. De todas formas, es una pista que normalmente se me ha dado bien, sobre todo con la Moto3. Con la Moto2 solamente pude correr una vez y veremos cómo será estar aquí con una MotoGP.”

“Sachsenring es una pista muy especial, pero con su encanto y con MotoGP lo será aún más. La pista ya era estrecha y pequeña con la Moto2, y ahora tengo curiosidad por ver qué efecto tendrá en la Ducati. Va a ser un fin de semana difícil, y creo que las diferencias serán muy pequeñas. El circuito tiene pocos kilómetros, así que sólo nos separarán unas décimas de segundo, y este año la categoría está a un nivel muy alto, con diferencias de menos de un segundo entre el primero y el vigésimo. Esta es otra razón por la que será fascinante. Empezaremos con todo lo positivo que recogimos del test en Barcelona para seguir creciendo.”

The Avintia Esponsorama Moto3 team will return to the Sachsenring circuit this weekend for the eighth round of the calendar, the Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deuchtsland.

Niccolò Antonelli is facing a new week of competition after finishing 8th at the Catalunya Grand Prix.

Carlos Tatay is still in the recovery process after fracturing the talus of his foot in Mugello and will not be able to race in Germany. Elia Bartolini, who did a great job in Montmeló scoring his first World Championship points, will replace the Spanish rider again.

The action will start on Friday at 9:00 with the first free practice of the Liqui Moly Motorrad Grand Prix Deuchtsland.
