The FIM Enel MotoE World Cup™ has been the successful of the MotoGP World Championship since 2019. An electric series, powered by Energica and Ego Corsa bike; a bike electric oriented to racing and capable of incredible performance. The know-how accumulated by ISB for more than 50 years in the world of competition, now allows to be close to this e-bike, characterized by a great power totally electric (120 kW) and maximum speed of up to 270km/h. with a torque 215 Nm from 0 to 5.000 rpm.

Last weekend began the new season of this FIM World Cup Enel MotoE™, during the celebration of the GP Red Bull of Spain held at the Circuit of Jerez-Angel Nieto. The riders of the e-motorbikes of Avintia Esponsorama Racing returned to the Andalusian track after the preseason tests. In the first GP of the category, André Pires finished twelfth, getting his first points of the season, Xavier Cardelús could not finish by fall, after making a great classification.

 

The FIM Enel MotoE World Cup Calendar™ 2021 includes a total of 6 dates and 7 races:

 

1-2 may: Gran Premio de España

15-16 may: Gran Premio de Francia

5-6 june: Gran Premio de Catalunya

26-27 june: Gran Premio de los Países Bajos

ISB ENTRA EN LA COPA DEL MUNDO FIM DE MOTOE DE LA MANO DEL EQUIPO AVINTIA ESPONSORAMA RACING

La marca de rodamientos ISB da un paso adelante en su compromiso con la eficiencia tecnológica y sostenible como proveedor del equipo Avintia Esponsorama Racing en la Copa del Mundo FIM Enel MotoE™, la competición eléctrica sobre dos ruedas más importante del mundo.

La Copa del Mundo FIM Enel MotoE™ ha sido la novedad del Campeonato del Mundo de MotoGP desde 2019. Una serie totalmente eléctrica, alimentada por Energica y montura Ego Corsa; una motocicleta eléctrica orientada a las carreras y capaz de un rendimiento increíble. El know-how acumulado por ISB durante más de 50 años en el mundo de la competición, le permite ahora estar cerca de esta moto-e, caracterizada por una gran potencia totalmente eléctrica (120 kW) y velocidad máxima de hasta 270km/h. con un par 215 Nm de 0 a 5.000 rpm.

El pasado fin de semana dio inicio la nueva temporada de dicha Copa del Mundo FIM Enel MotoE™, durante la celebración del Gran Premio Red Bull de España en el circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto. Los pilotos de las e-motos del Avintia Esponsorama Racing volvieron al trazado andaluz tras los test de pretemporada. En la carrera disputada el domingo, André Pires finalizó duodécimo, consiguiendo sus primeros puntos de la temporada mientras que Xavier Cardelús no pudo acabar por caída, tras realizar una gran clasificación.

El Calendario de la Copa del Mundo FIM Enel MotoE™ 2021 incluye un total de 6 citas y 7 carreras:

1-2 mayo: Gran Premio de España

15-16 mayo: Gran Premio de Francia

5-6 junio: Gran Premio de Catalunya

26-27 junio: Gran Premio de los Países Bajos

14-15 agosto: Gran Premio de Austria

FINISH THE GP RED BULL OF SPAIN FOR THE MOTOE CATEGORY. XAVIER CARDELÚS SUFFERS A FALL WITHOUT CONSEQUENCES, ANDRÉ PIRES FINISHES 12TH

Jerez May 2, 2021 – Ends the Spanish Red Bull GP for riders in the MotoE category of the Avintia Esponsorama Racing team. Xavier Cardelús has suffered a fall on the fifth lap of the race, unfortunately after the good feelings during the weekend the Andorran rider has not been able to take any point on this race. André Pires has finished in 12th position; the Portuguese continues his adaptation to the bike in what he considers an adventure in this new category for him.

#18 XAVIER CARDELÚS

“It’s a shame to start the season on this way, especially because of how short the championship is. Although the head group has quickly distanced from me, I felt strong enough to fight for the TOP 5. Now the important thing is to focus on the next race.”

# 14 ANDRÉ PIRES- 12º

“I am very happy that I was able to finish the race, it was my first GP and I was very nervous. My goal was to finish and not race alone. I saw many falls, so I’m decided not to take a risk and finish. Thanks to all teams for the great work and support they give me at all times.”

FINALIZA EL GP RED BULL DE ESPAÑA PARA LA CATEGORIA DE MOTOE. XAVIER CARDELÚS SUFRE UNA CAIDA SIN CONSECUENCIAS, ANDRÉ PIRES FINALIZA 12º

Jerez 2 de mayo 2021 – Finaliza el GP Red Bull de España para los pilotos de la categoría MotoE del equipo Avintia Esponsorama Racing . Xavier Cardelús ha sufrido una caída sin consecuencias en la quinta vuelta de carrera, lamentablemente después de las buenas sensaciones durante el fin de semana el piloto andorrano no ha podido puntuar en esta cita. André Pires ha finalizado en 12 º posición, el portugués sigue con su adaptación a la moto en lo que considera una aventura en esta nueva categoría para él.

#18 XAVIER CARDELÚS

“Ha sido una lastima empezar la temporada de esta manera, sobre todo por lo corto que es el campeonato. Aunque el grupo de cabeza se ha distanciado enseguida me sentía con fuerzas para luchas por el TOP 5. Ahora lo importante es concentrarse en la próxima carrera”.

# 14 ANDRÉ PIRES- 12º

“Estoy muy contento por haber podido terminar la carrera, ha sido mi primer Gran Premio y estaba muy nervioso. Mi objetivo era terminar y no rodar solo. Al final he rodado un poco más rápido. He visto que ha habido muchas caídas por lo que he decidido no arriesgar y finalizar. Agradezco a todo el equipo el gran trabajo y la ayuda que me prestan en todo momento”.

LUCA MARINI FINISHES IN 16TH POSITION, BASTIANINI SUFFERS A FALL WITHOUT CONSEQUENCES

Jerez (Spain) May 2, 2021 – Ends the GP Red Bull of Spain  with a positive balance for the riders of Team Avintia Esponsorama Racing. Although a fall without consequences, Bastianini has had a good pace with very good feeling since the start of the race, unfortunately the Italian this time has not been able to get any point. Luca Marini has finished in 16th position with gradual progress in the race that has allowed him to continue to gain experience.

 #10 LUCA MARINI (SKY VR46 AVINTIA TEAM) – 16º

“I made a mistake at the start: in the rush to recover, I went straight in braking on several occasions, and I lost a lot of seconds from the strongest guys. After the first 7 laps I started to ride better, I made the steps forward I had seen in the data and I did a very good second half of the race. The result is not positive, the points were so close and the gap from the very first riders was not bad at all. We are putting together many pieces; I have made progress on the use of the gas and the management of the rear tire. There are still many aspects to work on, but I’m happy because Jerez is not an easy track for the Ducati GP19 while the new one is really fast. I was behind Tito (Rabat) and the bike was very very fast. Congratulations to Dall’Igna and all the Ducati engineers because they have done a great job, Jerez is notoriously a track for other manufacture”.

#23 ENEA BASTIANINI

“I’ve made a bad start, with some problems. I had the pace and good feelings with the brake, after 4 or 5 laps I overtake to Marquez, but I went outside and it has pass me again, behind him I make a time of 38.4, 38.5 so I think little by little I could have improved. It was a shame the fall on Turn 2, I’m sure I could have made a good race. I keep the positive, we’ve been competitive. This morning the feeling with the bike was much better, tomorrow in the tests we will try new solutions.”

LUCA MARINI FINALIZA EN DECIMO SEXTA POSICION BASTIANINI SUFRE UNA CAIDA SIN CONSECUENCIAS

Jerez (España) 2 de mayo 2021 – Finaliza el GP Red Bull de España con un balance positivo para los pilotos del Equipo Avintia Esponsorama Racing. A pesar de una caída sin consecuencias, Bastianini ha tenido un buen ritmo con sensaciones muy buenas desde el inicio de carrera lamentablemente el italiano esta vez no ha podido puntuar. Luca Marini ha finalizado en décimo sexta posición con un progreso gradual en carrera que le ha permitido seguir adquiriendo experiencia.

 #10 LUCA MARINI (SKY VR46 AVINTIA TEAM) – 16º

“He cometido una equivocación en la salida: con tantas ganas de recuperar me he pasado de frenada en más de una ocasión y he perdido mucho tiempo. después de las primeras 7 vueltas he comenzado a pilotar bien, avanzando con las correcciones que había visto en los datos e realizado una segunda mitad de carrera muy buena. El resultado no me ilusiona, estaba muy cerca de los puntos y la distancia de los primeros no ha sido mucha. Estamos progresando en la sensibilidad del uso del gas y del neumático trasero. Todavía tenemos muchos aspectos en los que trabajar, pero estoy muy contento ya que Jerez no es una pista fácil para la Ducati GP19 mientras la nueva es muy veloz. He realizado parte de la carrera detrás de Rabat y la moto rodaba fortísimo. Felicidades a Dall´Igna y a todos los ingenieros por el gran trabajo que han realizado, es obvio que Jerez es una pista más favorable para otros constructores”.

#23 ENEA BASTIANINI

“He realizado una salida mala con algunos problemas. Tenia el ritmo y conseguía frenar fuerte, después de 4 o 5 vueltas he pasado a Marquez, pero me he ido fuera y me ha vuelto a adelantar, detrás de el he marcado 38.4, 38.5 por lo que creo que poco a poco hubiera podido ir mejorando. Ha sido una lástima la caída en la curva 2, estoy seguro de que podía haber hecho una buena carrera. Me quedo con la parte positiva, hemos sido competitivos con respecto a los entrenamientos del viernes y sábado. Esta mañana el feeling con la moto era mucho mejor, mañana en los test intentaremos probar soluciones nuevas”.

BRILLIANT RACE FOR CARLOS TATAY WHO FINISHES 6TH;
ANTONELLI 8TH, IS SECOND IN THE GENERAL CLASSIFICATION
Jerez (Spain) May 2, 2021 – Positive day for the riders of the Avintia Esponsorama Racing Team. Carlos Tatay, sixteenth on the grid, crossed the checkered flag on sixth position despite having taken a long lap penalty after exceeding the track limits. The 17 years old Valencian has shown today his full potential.
Niccolò Antonelli, with tire problems, finished eighth in the race, placing him second in the championship standing with 44 points.
#99 CARLOS TATAY – 6th
“I am very happy. A little be upset about the long lap but I prefer to stay with the positive part of today’s race and the learning as a rider. It is something that we will have to improve for the next races. This weekend we have overcome the strange situation we had at the beginning of the season, but with work we have managed to do a step forward. Hard working is the only way I know to achieve my goals. I think I could have fought for the podium because I lost 2 seconds due to the long lap, but this is how races are. I have given my 100%!”
# 23 NICCOLÒ ANTONELLI – 8th
“I don’t understand what happened, I didn’t have any rear grip. I have seen that other riders crashed at the same point where I felt being at the very limit. I thought that something was wrong with the tyre. At the end of the race I felt a little better, although I don’t understand why I didn’t have the same feeling as in the practice. I sincerely expected to get a better result”.

GRAN CARRERA PARA CARLOS TATAY QUE FINALIZA 6º, ANTONELLI 8º Y SEGUNDO EN LA CLASIFICACION GENERAL

Jerez (España) 2 de mayo 2021 – Jornada muy positiva para los pilotos del equipo Avintia Esponsorama Racing Team . Carlos Tatay que salía en décimo sexta posición ha remontado hasta finalizar sexto, incluso sufriendo un long lap por exceder el límite del trazado exigido, el Valenciano hoy ha demostrado todo su potencial. Niccolò Antonelli con problemas en sus neumáticos ha finalizado octavo, puesto que lo coloca segundo en la clasificación general con 44 puntos.

#99 CARLOS TATAY – 6º

“Estoy muy contento, algo disgustado por el long lap pero quedándome con lo positivo y aprendiendo como piloto. Es algo que tendremos que mejorar de cara a las próximas carreras. Hemos salido del bache que teníamos a principio de temporada, pero con trabajo esta superado. Trabajar es el único modo que conozco de alcanzar mis objetivos. Podía haber luchado por el podio, he perdido 2 segundos a causa del long lap y me he quedado a muy poco de la victoria, pero estos son carreras. He dado el 100%!”.

# 23 NICCOLÒ ANTONELLI – 8º

“No entiendo que ha sucedido, no tenía ningún grip trasero. He visto que otros pilotos se han caído en el mismo punto donde yo me sentía al limite y he pensado que algo sucedía con el neumático. Al final de carrera me he sentido un poco mejor aun así no entiendo porque no he tenido el mismo feeling que en los entrenamientos. Esperaba haber obtenido un mejor resultado”.

END OF SECOND DAY IN THE MOTOE CATEGORY XAVI CARDELUS 8TH AND ANDRE PIRES 17TH

Jerez (Spain) 1 May 2021 – After the second day of the Spanish Red Bull GP, the Avintia Esponsorama Racing MotoE riders obtained positive results. Xavier Cardelús will start 8th while his teammate André Pires continues with his adaptation to the new category, starting 17th.

“The important thing today was to do a good lap, I would like to have set a better time, but I have decided not to take risks and have a good race tomorrow. I’d like to thank the team for all the work done, I am sure that the results will be very positive ”

“Today was a very difficult day, I am not used to this type of classification. I am not satisfied with the position, but tomorrow I am sure I will improve. Qualifying with only one lap and specially after a crash, is difficult”.

FINALIZA LAS SEGUNDA JORNADA EN LA CATEGORIA DE MOTOE XAVI CARDELUS 8º Y ANDRE PIRES 17º

Jerez (España) 1 de Mayo  2021 – Finalizada la segunda jornada del GP Red Bull de España los pilotos del Avintia Esponsorama Racing team en la categoría de MotoE obtienen resultados positivos. Xavier Cardelús saldrá 8º mientras su compañero de equipo André Pires continua con su adaptación a la nueva categoría saliendo 17º

“Lo importante hoy era hacer una buena vuelta, me gustaría haber marcado un mejor tiempo, pero he decidido conservar y mañana realizar una buena carrera. Agradecer al equipo todo el trabajo realizado, estoy seguro de que los resultados serán muy positivos “

“Hoy ha sido un día muy complicado, no estoy habituado a este tipo de clasificación. No estoy satisfecho con la posición, pero mañana estoy seguro de que mejorare. Hacer una clasificación solo con una vuelta y después de una caída es complicado”.
