NICCOLÒ ANTONELLI 9º ON THE GRID OF THE GP RED BULL OF SPAIN TATAY 16º

Jerez (Spain) May 1, 2021 – Avintia Esponsorama Racing Team riders completed the second day of the GP Red Bull of Spain. After a very positive weekend Niccolò Antonelli will start tomorrow from the third row of the grid with a 9th position achieved with a time of 1’46.440. Carlos Tatay will be 16th with a time of 1’47,060.

“It was a positive qualifying, we have done all the work on time. I got a good time racing alone, and I tried to get the pole but I had the flag for a second, just before I passed the finish line to make my fast lap, I decided to do it anyway and I am happy with the result. I’m so sorry about what happened, but these things happen, I hope to learn from these situations.”

“Today was a positive day, I enjoyed the bike again and I felt really good. I think we have the pace to be in the top group again and fight for a good race. Due to the problems on the bike, yesterday was a complicated day, but today I changed my mindset, and everything went well as it should. The position does not reflect the work done, but I want to focus on the positive aspects of today.”

NICCOLÒ ANTONELLI NOVENO EN LA PARRILLA DEL GP RED BULL DE ESPAÑA TATAY DECIMO SEXTO

Jerez (España) 1 de mayo 2021 – La segunda jornada del GP Red Bull de España finaliza para los pilotos del Avintia Esponsorama Racing Team. Después de un fin de semana muy positivo Niccolò Antonelli saldrá en tercera fila con una 9º posición conseguida con un tiempo de 1´46.440. Carlos Tatay saldrá 16º con un tiempo de 1´47.060.

“Ha sido una qualifying al final positiva, hemos hecho todo el trabajo que nos habíamos propuesto. He conseguido un buen tiempo rodando solo, y he intentado marcar la pole pero me han sacado la bandera por un segundo, justo antes de pasar la línea de meta para realizar mi vuelta rápida, he decido hacerla igualmente y estoy contento con el tiempo marcado. Siento muchísimo lo sucedido, pero son cosas que pueden ocurrir, espero aprender de estas situaciones”.

“Hoy ha sido un día más positivo, he vuelto a disfrutar encima de la moto y me he sentido muy bien. Creo que volvemos a tener ritmo para aguantar en el grupo de cabeza y luchar por una buena carrera. Por problemas en la moto ayer fue un día muy complicado, pero hoy he cambiado mi mentalidad y todo ha ido como debería. La posición no refleja el trabajo realizado, pero me quedo con lo positivo “.

COMPLICATED DAY IN THE CLASSIFICATION SECTION FOR AVINTIA ESPONSORAMA RACING TEAM RIDERS

Jerez (Spain) May 1, 2021 – The demanding track of the Jerez circuit has not been favourable for Avintia Esponsorama Racing Team riders. The adaptation to the Ducati in the MotoGP category continues growing up with positive sensations. After the qualifying day Enea Bastianini will be tomorrow 15th with a time of 1’37,675.  Luca Marini with 1´37.925 gets the 18 º position tomorrow on the grid.

“It’s been a difficult day. With the new tyre I feel much better than the used something different to other circuits, I must understand the reason. I have a lot of movement on the bike, and I can’t turn the bike well. Tomorrow, we will analyse the data of other Ducati riders who have made good times to confront them with mine. I can’t be entirely satisfied with my result.”

#10 LUCA MARINI (SKY VR46 AVINTIA TEAM) – 18º – 1´37.925

“A complicated qualifying, compared to the free practices there was more wind and I have struggled a bit. I am not satisfied with the result: I set my best time with an used rear tire of three laps and a front one of seven, not the most optimal conditions. A shame, there was a lot of traffic on the track and maybe I was more penalized than others. The feeling with the bike is quite ok and we can make a step forward in turning. We have already decided the tires for the race, and we are happy about our choice. Tomorrow it will be important to have a great start and push at 100% in the first laps”.

JORNADA COMPLICADA EN LA SECCION DE CLASIFICACION PARA LOS PILOTOS DEL AVINTIA ESPONSORAMA RACING TEAM

Jerez (España) 1 de mayo 2021 – El exigente trazado del circuito de Jerez, no ha sido del todo favorable para los pilotos del Avintia Esponsorama Racing Team. Su adaptación a la Ducati en la categoría reina sigue avanzando con sensaciones positivas . Finalizada la jornada de clasificación Enea Bastianini saldrá en 15º posición con un tiempo de 1´37.675, Luca Marini con 1´37.925 consigue la 18 º posición.

“Ha sido un día difícil. Con el neumático nuevo me encuentro mucho mejor que con el usado algo totalmente contrario a otros circuitos, tengo que entender el motivo. Tengo mucho movimiento en la moto con el que sufro bastante y no puedo girar bien. Para mañana, analizaremos también los datos de otros pilotos Ducati que han hecho buenos tiempos para confrontarlos con los míos. No puedo estar del todo satisfecho con mi resultado”.

“Ha sido una clasificación muy complicada, respeto a los entrenamientos hacia más viento y me ha costado más. No estoy satisfecho con el resultado: He realizado mi mejor tiempo con un neumático usado con tres vueltas detrás y siete delante, no son las condiciones más favorables. Había mucho tráfico en pista, nos hemos molestado y yo he sido el más perjudicado. El feeling con la moto es discreto podemos hacer un step más para hacer girar mejor la moto. Ya hemos decidido los neumáticos para la carrera de mañana y estamos seguros de la elección. Mañana será muy importante salir bien y rápido desde el inicio”.

FIRST DAY OF FREE PRACTICE. NICCOLÒ ANTONELLI ENDS WITH THE SECOND BEST TIME

Jerez (Spain) April 30, 2021 – The riders of Avintia Esponsorama Racing Team Moto3 have completed the first day of free practice of the GP Red Bull of Spain. Niccolò Antonelli with a time of 1´45.907 finished second. The Italian continues with the good sensations that allowed him to reach third place on the podium in Portimao. His teammate Carlos Tatay continues his adaptation to the bike, trying to overcome the inconveniences to be able to demonstrate his full potential. In today’s day he finished in 28th place with a time of 1’48.366.

PRIMERA JORNADA DE ENTRENAMIENTOS PARA LOS PILOTOS DEL AVINTIA ESPONSORAMA RACING EN LA CATEGORIA DE MOTOE

Jerez 30 de abril 2021 – El circuito de Jerez ha sido escenario de la primera jornada de entrenamientos libres en la categoría de MotoE. La primera carrera de la temporada tendrá lugar el próximo domingo donde lo pilotos del Avintia Esponsorama, podrán demostrar por primera vez los buenos resultados obtenidos en pretemporada. Xavier Cardelús ha terminado en 5º posición en la combinada con un tiempo de 1´48.956. Su compañero de equipo André Pires consigue la 16º posición marcando un tiempo de 1´50.644.

“Primer día positivo. La primera sección me la he tomado con calma ya que el finde semana pasado probé otra moto. En esta moto cuesta recuperar sensaciones. Ha sido una lastima que no haya podido hacer como quería mi vuelta rápida ya que otro piloto me ha molestado, creo que podría haber ido medio segundo más rápido. Estoy seguro de que mañana saldrán las cosas muy bien “.

“Estoy muy contento, he conseguido rodar junto al resto de pilotos y esto para mi es un avance muy positivo. Me estoy adaptando muy bien y me siento más cómodo con la moto. Quiero agradecer al equipo toda su ayuda en esta nueva etapa. Mañana lo intentare todo en la vuelta lanzada de clasificación, aún me cuesta gestionar el peso de la moto pero poco a poco iré progresando”.

PRIMERA JORNADA DE ENTRENAMIENTOS LIBRES EN LOS QUE ANTONELLI FINALIZA CON EL SEGUNDO MEJOR TIEMPO

Jerez (España) 30 de abril 2021 – Los pilotos del Avintia Esponsorama Racing Moto3 han concluido la primera jornada de entrenamientos libres del GP de España Red Bull . Niccolò Antonelli ha finalizado 2º en la combinada con un tiempo de 1´45.907, el italiano continua con las buenas sensaciones que le permitieron alcanzar el tercer puesto del podio en Portimao. Su compañero Carlos Tatay continua su adaptación a la moto, intentando superar los inconvenientes para poder demostrar todo su potencial. En la jornada de hoy ha finalizado en 28 º posición con un tiempo de 1´48.366.

“Ha sido un día muy positivo, estoy muy contento de estar dentro de la Q2, aun así, no me siento del todo confiado con la parte delantera de la moto, por este motivo he tenido una caída sin consecuencias que me ha hecho estar atento y concentrado. Tenemos que entender cómo mejorar con seguridad. Esta pista es muy exigente y complicada y necesito estar al 100 %”.

FIRST DAY OF FREE PRACTICE FOR THE MOTOGP CATEGORY AT THE GP RED BULL OF SPAIN

Jerez (Spain) April 30, 2021 – Ends the first day of free practice at the Jerez circuit. The demands of this track today have proved evident to the riders of the Avintia Esponsorama Racing Team. Luca Marini has completed 17 laps getting 15th place with a time of 1’38,274. Enea Bastianini with a time of 1´38.516 will be 18th after completing 19 laps.

“The Jerez track with MotoGP is really tough: all the turns are so close practically you can’t breathe. However, it is always a beautiful track. I am happy with the work done today, so many positive feelings. We have continued to work on the position on the bike and made a good step forward. Also, on the set up we changed something compared to Qatar and Portimao, we can still do a little bit on the rear to be perfect, but I’m happy. On the tire choice, we need to understand exactly what to do with the front for the qualifying and then decide between medium or hard on the rear for the race even if at the moment I’m not able to completely exclude the soft. After the first day of free practices, I am a second of gap from Pecco (Bagnaia) and for the first time here it is not bad at all”.

“I’m not very happy, I expected a better result. This morning I was at a good pace and in the afternoon workouts we got worse. Tomorrow I need to take one more step to be better. PRIMERA JORNADA DE ENTRENAMIENTOS LIBRES PARA LA CATEGORIA DE MOTOGP EN EL GP RED BULL DE ESPAÑA

Jerez (España) 30 de abril 2021 – Finaliza la primera jornada de entrenamientos libres en el circuito de Jerez. Las exigencias de esta pista hoy han resultado patentes para los pilotos del Avintia Esponsorama Racing Team. Luca Marini ha completado 17 vueltas consiguiendo la 15º posición con un tiempo de 1´38.274. Enea Bastianini con un total de 19 vueltas ha finalizado 18º marcando un tiempo de 1´38.516.

“El circuito de Jerez con la MotoGP es complicado: es muy estrecho con las curvas muy cercanas, no da tiempo a respirar. Aun así, es fascinante. Estoy muy contento del trabajo que hemos realizado y tengo sensaciones muy positivas. Nos hemos concentrado en la posición de la moto y hemos avanzado bastante. En el set up también hemos realizado cambios con respecto a Qatar y Portimao, en la parte posterior todavía creo que podemos mejorar. En cuanto a la elección de neumáticos todavía tenemos que entender como gestionar el delantero para la clasificación, y después decidir entre medio y duro para la parte posterior en carrera, aunque no descarto del todo el blando. Después de la primera jornada estoy a 1 segundo de Bagnaia, creo que para ser la primera vez aquí no esta nada mal”.

“No estoy muy contento, esperaba un resultado mejor. Esta mañana me encontraba con un buen ritmo y sin embargo en los entrenamientos de la tarde hemos empeorado. Mañana necesito dar un paso más para estar mejor situados. Mi punto fuerte es la frenada, pero no siento confianza con la parte trasera. Jerez es una pista que no deja bajar la guardia, espero mañana seguir progresando”.

FIRST RACE FOR MOTOE RIDERS OF AVINTIA ESPONSORAMA RACING ON THE ANGEL DE NIETO JEREZ CIRCUIT.

 Jerez (Spain) April 29, 2021 – Green light for the MOTOE category of Avintia Esponsorama Racing Team riders. Tomorrow will begin the first free practice of the Red Bull GP of Spain, the first race of the season for this category. After a very positive preseason with good results Xavier Cardelús arrives at the Jerez aiming to reach the top positions. André Pires continues his adaptation to the category with a progressive evolution that will allow him to improve on his debut.

“I look forward to start this first GP. The whole preseason has gone very well and this gives me a lot of confidence. Jerez is not one of my favourite circuits, although during the last tests I found a good adaptation to the bike. I hope to get a good result on Sunday.”

“I’m looking forward to compete in my first GP, for me it’s a dream come true. I’ve worked a lot physically and psychologically to be well prepared. I continue with the adaptation to the category and hopefully I will quickly be able to take the step forward that I need. My goal is to be faster to be able to follow other riders and, in this way, learn. I have to improve in the braking to be more competitive.“
