El Reale Avintia Moto3 y Carlos Tatay han cerrado un positivo Gran Premio de San Marino consiguiendo entrar por segunda vez esta temporada en la zona de puntos gracias a una trabajada y luchada 15ª posición.

Pese a ser una carrera accidentada, Carlos Tatay ha logrado una gran salida que le ha permitido ascender hasta cinco posiciones en la primera vuelta. Gracias a su gran ritmo, el piloto español ha conseguido mantenerse en un extenso grupo de cabeza con más de diecisiete pilotos y que, finalmente ha logrado entrar dentro del TOP-15 tras una gran gestión, cerrando así un fin de semana muy positivo para él, que ha ido de menos a más.

Sin tiempo para descansar el Reale Avintia Moto3 afrontará la próxima semana de forma consecutiva el segundo Gran Premio de San Marino en el mismo Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

“Estoy muy satisfecho con la carrera de hoy, incluso un poco contento porque hemos aguantado em el grupo de delante, hemos terminado a sólo dos segundos del primero. De cara a la semana que viene ya sabemos dónde mejorar y aprovecharemos esta segunda oportunidad. Continuaremos trabajando en esta línea y seguro que llegarán los resultados.”

El piloto del Reale Avintia Moto3, Carlos Tatay, arrancará el Gran Premio de San Marino en el Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli desde la octava línea de la parrilla de salida tras lograr el 22º tiempo en la sesión clasificatoria.

Tras una clasificación muy ajustada, el piloto valenciano ha marcado un tiempo de 1’43.595 y por tan solo cuatro décimas, no ha podido acceder a la Q2. Pese a mejorar su registro en el último intento, Tatay se ha visto envuelto en un grupo con muchos pilotos que no le ha permitido completar una vuelta limpia.

Mañana a las 11:00 se disputará la carrera del Gran Premio de San Marino, donde el Reale Avintia Moto3 y Carlos Tatay la afrontarán con el objetivo de remontar posiciones y sumar puntos importantes.

“Ha sido un día muy positivo, a pesar de la posición hemos mejorado mucho con respecto ayer. Hemos encontrado la línea a seguir, ahora es momento de seguir trabajando y centrarnos al máximo para carrera. Gracias al equipo por el trabajo realizado”.

Since the morning session, Carlos Tatay has worked with the team to find a good set-up for his KTM for the weekend. The Valencian rider has accumulated sixteen laps in the first free practice, with a best time of 1’45.314.

In the afternoon session, Carlos Tatay managed to improve his best morning time by eight tenths. Thanks to the fourteen accumulated laps, the team has managed to get valuable data in order to take a step forward on Saturday.

Tomorrow the Reale Avintia Moto3 and Carlos Tatay will fight in the third free practice and in the classification to obtain a good result that will allow them to start as far as possible in Sunday’s race.

The Reale Avintia Moto3 and Carlos Tatay arrive at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli for the San Marino Grand Prix, the seventh race of the calendar for the category.

Located a few kilometers from Rimini, the Misano circuit is already a classic on the calendar. A total of six left turns, ten right turns and 4.2 kilometers form a fast, but at the same time very technical track.

Tatay faces a new weekend of competition with hunger and motivation to look for a good result that still allows him to score points and climb positions in the standings.

It will be on Friday from 9:00 when the Reale Avintia Moto3 will be back in action for the first free practice of the San Marino Grand Prix.

Situado a pocos kilómetros de Rimini, el circuito de Misano es ya un clásico en el calendario. Un total de seis curvas de izquierdas, diez de derechas y 4.2 kilómetros forman un trazado rápido, pero a la vez muy técnico.

Tatay afronta un nuevo fin de semana de competición con hambre y motivación de buscar un buen resultado que le siga permitiendo sumar puntos en su casillero y escalar posiciones en la clasificación.

Será el viernes a partir de las 9:00 cuando el Reale Avintia Moto3 volverá a la acción para disputar los primeros entrenamientos libres del Gran Premio de San Marino.

“Tengo muchísimas ganas de salir a pista al FP1, de dar el máximo después de dos semanas sin subir a la moto. Muchas ganas del día de mañana y de darlo todo junto a mi equipo.”

With thirteen laps to go and fighting to reach the points, the Valencian rider was given a long lap penalty for exceeding the track’s limits, which relegated him to the rear positions. Despite this, Tatay did not give up and managed to cross the finish line in 21st place, less than eight seconds from the top-15.

After three consecutive races, the Reale Avintia Moto3 and Carlos Tatay will be able to rest and continue working to return stronger to the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, which will host the San Marino Grand Prix on September 11th, 12th and 13th.

“It was a complicated Sunday, in the warm-up but above all in the race I had a very good feeling, the team gave me a very good bike. But due to circumstances we didn’t qualify well yesterday, we started very far back. In the first few laps I had a lot of touches with several riders and the front group slipped away from me. I think the end of the race was positive because I got back on the bike and I think we have a good base to go to Misano. El Reale Avintia Moto3 y Carlos Tatay han concluido la sexta cita de la temporada para la categoría, el Gran Premio de Styria, en 21ª posición en el Red Bull Ring – Spielberg.

Después de conseguir el 23º mejor registro en la sesión clasificatoria en el día de ayer, Carlos Tatay ha conseguido ejecutar una gran arrancada que le ha hecho recuperar cinco posiciones en la primera vuelta, lo que le ha permitido colocarse 18º. A falta de trece vueltas para el final y luchando por alcanzar la zona de puntos, el piloto valenciano ha sido sancionado con una ‘long lap penalty’ por exceder los límites de la pista, lo que ha relegado a las posiciones traseras. Pese a ello, Tatay no ha tirado la toalla y ha logrado cruzar la línea de meta 21º, a menos de ocho segundos del top-15.

Tras tres carreras consecutivas, el Reale Avintia Moto3 y Carlos Tatay podrán descansar y seguir trabajando para volver más fuertes al Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, que albergará el Gran Premio de San Marino durante los días 11, 12 y 13 de septiembre.

“Ha sido un domingo complicado, en el ‘warm-up’ pero sobre todo en la carrera he tenido muy buenas sensaciones, el equipo me ha dejado muy buena moto. Pero por circunstancias ayer no clasificamos bien, hemos salido muy atrás, en las primeras vueltas he tenido muchos toques con varios pilotos y se me ha escapado el grupo delantero. Creo que el final de carrera ha sido positivo porque me he reencontrado con la moto y creo que tenemos una gran base para llegar a Misano. Muchísimas gracias al equipo por el trabajo que ha hecho y en Misano más.”
