Carlos Tatay partirá 23º en la carrera del Gran Premio de Styria, segunda carrera que disputará en el Red Bull Ring – Spielberg.

El piloto valenciano del Reale Avintia Moto3 tras completar los tres entrenamientos libres logró la 23ª posición de la tabla de tiempos combinados, por lo que ha tenido que disputar la Q1. Tras marcar un mejor registro de 1’37.585, Tatay no ha podido colocarse en las posiciones que dan el paso a la Q2 y ha tenido que conformarse con la octava línea de la parrilla de salida.

Mañana a las 11:00 dará comienzo la carrera del Gran Premio de Estiria, donde Carlos Tatay intentará remontar y alcanzar las posiciones de puntos.

“Ha sido un día muy positivo en el que hemos descartado muchas cosas, creo que nos ha servido para poder reflexionar, mirar nuestros puntos débiles y estamos listos para mañana. En carrera intentaré mejorar mis puntos débiles y brindarle una muy buena carrera ha mi equipo que está haciendo un gran trabajo.”

Reale Avintia Moto3 and Carlos Tatay completed the first day of free practices for the Styrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring – Spielberg.

In the morning session, Carlos Tatay finished in 14th position after setting a time of 1’37.032. Thanks to 18 laps, and the experience gained during last Sunday’s race, the Valencian rider has managed to improve his best time last weekend by almost three tenths.

During the afternoon, Tatay did not manage to reduce his morning time, which moved him to 18th place in the combined times table. Despite not improving the time, the young 17-years-old continues to accumulate kilometers to continue with the work of adapting to his KTM.

Tomorrow the third free practice session and the qualifying session of the Styrian Grand Prix will be held in the Red Bull Ring – Spielberg, where the whole team will fight to obtain the best possible position for Sunday’s race.

El Reale Avintia Moto3 y Carlos Tatay han completado el primer día de entrenamientos libres de este Gran Premio de Styria en el Red Bull Ring – Spielberg.

En la sesión matinal, Carlos Tatay ha finalizado en 14ª posición tras marcar un tiempo de 1’37.032. Gracias a las 18 vueltas, y a la experiencia adquirida durante la carrera del domingo pasado, el piloto valenciano ha conseguido mejorar casi en tres décimas su mejor registro del fin de semana pasado.

Durante la tarde, Tatay no ha conseguido rebajar su tiempo de la mañana, lo que le ha trasladado a la 18ª posición de la tabla combinada de tiempos. Pese a no mejorar el crono, el joven piloto de 17 años continúa acumulando kilómetros para seguir con el trabajo de adaptación a su KTM.

Mañana se disputarán en el Red Bull Ring – Spielberg los terceros entrenamientos libres y la sesión clasificatoria del Gran Premio de Styria, donde todo el equipo luchará por obtener la mejor posición posible de cara a la carrera del domingo.

“Ha sido un día más, estoy satisfecho con el trabajo, poco a poco seguimos progresando en una buena línea. Creo que mañana podemos hacer un gran trabajo, hoy nos ha faltado cuadrar una buena vuelta para hacer un buen tiempo y estar en la Q2 pero mañana tenemos otra oportunidad y volveremos a intentarlo. Muchas gracias al equipo por el trabajo.”

Despite not being able to contact the front group because of a touch on the first lap, we had the pace to be in the lead. So, with a lot of desire, a lot of illusion and to work very hard to make a very good weekend”.

Tatay, que concluyó el Gran Premio de Austria en 22ª posición pese al gran ritmo que mostró durante toda la carrera, afronta un nuevo fin de semana de competición con hambre y motivación de buscar un buen resultado que le siga permitiendo sumar puntos en su casillero y escalar posiciones en la clasificación.

Será mañana a partir de las 9:00 cuando Carlos Tatay volverá a los lomos de su KTM para completar los dos primeros entrenamientos libres del Gran Premio de Styria.

“Afrontamos el fin de semana con muchas ganas. En la última carrera tuvimos muy buen ritmo y por fin me encontré cómodo con la moto. Pese a no poder contactar con el grupo delantero por un toque en la primera vuelta, teníamos el ritmo para estar en cabeza. Así que, con muchas ganas, mucha ilusión y a trabajar muy duro para hacer un muy buen fin de semana.”

El Reale Avintia Moto3 y Carlos Tatay han concluido la quinta cita de la temporada para la categoría en 22ª posición en una carrera muy ajustada en el Red Bull Ring – Spielberg.

Tras la clasificación disputada en el día de ayer, el piloto valenciano arrancaba 25º en la parrilla de salida. Durante la carrera, Tatay ha estado luchando por alcanzar la zona de puntos, pero finalmente se ha tenido que conformar con la 22ª posición, finalizando a seis segundos del TOP-15.

El próximo fin de semana, Carlos Tatay y el Reale Avintia Moto3 tendrán una nueva oportunidad para alcanzar su objetivo en el Gran Premio de Styria, que se disputará en el mismo Red Bull Ring – Spielberg.

“Estoy satisfecho con el trabajo y hemos podido dar un paso adelante. No estoy contento con el resultado de la carrera, pero sí con el trabajo que hemos hecho. He tenido un toque al principio que me ha llevado a unas posiciones muy retrasadas, he intentado volver al grupo y estaba rodando en los mismos tiempos que la cabeza. Nos llevamos buenas conclusiones y una buena base para empezar a trabajar la semana que viene. Muchas gracias al equipo por el trabajo y la semana que viene más.”

El piloto valenciano del Reale Avintia Moto3, que después de disputar los tres entrenamientos libres logró la 24ª posición en los tiempos combinados, ha tenido que disputar la Q1. Tras marcar un mejor registro de 1’37.758, Tatay no ha conseguido alcanzar las cuatro mejores posiciones para acceder a la Q2 y finalmente se ha tenido que conformar con la novena línea en la parrilla de salida.

Mañana a las 11:00 dará comienzo la carrera del Gran Premio de Austria, donde Carlos Tatay tendrá el objetivo de culminar una remontada que le permita alcanzar las posiciones de puntos.

“Ha sido un día con muchos cambios, primero el FP3 con lluvia y después la clasificación me ha costado un poco más. He salido bien, lo único que he cometido un fallo en la estrategia. No me ha salido bien pero esto me hace tener más ganas para mañana, para salir con más garra y para disfrutar la carrera. A ver que podemos hacer.”

Reale Avintia Moto3 and Carlos Tatay are facing a new racing week with the desire to continue the upward trend of the team.
