El Reale Avintia Racing ha vuelto a la acción en el Circuito de Jerez-Ángel Nieto, el cual ha sido el escenario encargado de albergar los penúltimos test de pretemporada de Moto3 durante el 19, 20 y 21 de febrero.

Han sido tres jornadas de entrenamiento muy productivas para el equipo donde Carlos Tatay ha seguido mejorando sus sensaciones y trabajando en la puesta a punto y configuración de su KTM para 2020. El piloto valenciano ha sido capaz de acumular un total 138 vueltas durante los tres días en el trazado andaluz. Gracias a los más de 600 kilómetros recorridos y los datos obtenidos, el equipo podrá seguir con el trabajo y el desarrollo de la moto para afrontar la cita qatarí.

De esta manera, el Reale Avintia Racing pone rumbo hacia el Circuito Internacional de Losail, donde del 28 de febrero al 1 de marzo se llevará a cabo el último test de pretemporada de Moto3 previo a la primera carrera del calendario en el mismo trazado, el Gran Premio de Catar.

“Han sido tres días muy positivos. Veníamos con muchas ganas, pero sabíamos que iba a ser complicado. El primer año del mundial será difícil, pero toca aprender y disfrutar al máximo y eso es lo positivo que me llevo. Ahora toca seguir trabajando en Catar.”

Carlos Tatay has finished the race of the Qatar Grand Prix in 21st position. The Spaniard completed his first weekend as a Reale Avintia Racing rider and continued the process of learning and adaptation to the category in the first race of the calendar.

In yesterday’s qualifying, Tatay made a decent performance and in Q2, which qualified directly after the combined times of the free practices, he set the 17th best time, which allowed him to start from the sixth row of the grid.

After a good start, the Valencian rider has managed to reach the points zone, placing 15th during the first laps of the race. But unfortunately, Tatay’s pace was not enough to follow the lead group and, after an intense fight with the mid-table group for several laps, he managed to cross the finish line 21st, 8.4 seconds from the first position.

With the Qatar Grand Prix finished, the Reale Avintia Racing will continue with the intense work to arrive prepared to the next race, which will not be in the Thailand Grand Prix because, due to the coronavirus, it has been postponed to October.

Carlos Tatay ha concluido la carrera del Gran Premio de Catar en 21ª posición. El español ha completado su primer fin de semana como piloto del Reale Avintia Racing y ha seguido con el proceso de aprendizaje y adaptación a la categoría en la primera carrera del calendario.

En la clasificación de ayer, Tatay realizó una decente actuación y en la Q2, que logró clasificarse directamente tras los tiempos combinados de los entrenamientos libres, marcó el 17º mejor tiempo, que le ha permitido arrancar en la sexta fila de la parrilla.

Tras una buena salida, el piloto valenciano ha conseguido alcanzar la zona de puntos situándose 15º durante los primeros compases de la carrera. Pero desafortunadamente, el ritmo de Tatay no ha sido suficiente como para finalizar la prueba en zona de puntos y, tras una intensa lucha con el grupo de mitad de tabla durante varias vueltas, ha logrado cruzar la línea de meta 21º, a 8.4 segundos de la primera posición.

Con el Gran Premio de Catar terminado, el Reale Avintia Racing, seguirá con el intenso trabajo para llegar preparados a la próxima carrera, la cual no será el Gran Premio de Tailandia ya que, debido al coronavirus, se ha pospuesto para el próximo mes de octubre.

Reale Avintia Racing will compete this weekend in the first Grand Prix of the calendar in Qatar. The team faces the first round of the season with ambition and motivation after completing an exciting pre-season.

The MotoGP race will not take place due to the difficulties in entering to the country because of the coronavirus, so the decision was taken to cancel all the sessions and only the Moto3 and Moto2 categories will be on track this weekend, as due to the test carried out last week, all the members of the teams are already in Qatar.

Located in the Qatari desert, the Losail International Circuit is already a classic on the calendar. Since 2007, the Qatar Grand Prix has been in charge of starting the MotoGP World Championship. It is a very well-known circuit for all the riders, because every year, all the categories make a test before the Grand Prix.

Losail is a circuit with a length of 5.4 kilometers, with six left turns and ten right turns. The main overtaking point is the first corner of the track after a long straight of 1068 meters.

The Moto3 race will take place on Sunday 8th March with a total of 18 laps to go and Carlos Tatay will start what will be a new exciting adventure for him and the whole team.

El Reale Avintia Racing disputará este fin de semana el primer gran premio del calendario en Catar. El equipo afronta la primera cita de la temporada con ambición y motivación tras completar una pretemporada ilusionante.

La carrera de MotoGP no se disputará debido a las dificultades para entrar al país por el coronavirus, por lo que se tomó la decisión de anular todas las pruebas y solamente disputarán el fin de semana las categorías de Moto3 y Moto2, ya que debido al test realizado la semana pasada, todos los integrantes de los equipos ya se encuentran en Qatar.

Situado en el desierto catarí, el Circuito Internacional de Losail es ya un clásico del calendario. Desde 2007, el Gran Premio de Catar es el encargado de dar comienzo al campeonato mundial de motociclismo. Es un trazado muy conocido por todos los pilotos, ya que cada año, todas las categorías realizan un test previo al gran premio.

Se trata de un circuito con una longitud de 5.4 kilómetros, con seis curvas de izquierda y diez de derechas. El principal punto de adelantamiento es la primera curva del trazado tras una larga recta de 1068 metros.

La carrera de Moto3 se disputará el domingo 8 de marzo a un total de 18 vueltas y Carlos Tatay comenzará lo que será una nueva ilusionante y emocionante aventura para él y todo el equipo.

After the announcement of the contract renewal and ampliation with Ducati and the two victories in MotoE in the GP de la Comunitat Valenciana, the Reale Avintia Racing Team is pleased to announce its join with the Italian team MTA, that its directed by the former 125cc and Moto3 rider Alessandro Tonucci, in the FIM CEV.

The Reale Avintia Racing Team will have Carlos Tatay in the 2020 Moto3 World Championship as it was a announced a couple of months ago and now it will keep on betting for young promises during next season in the FIM CEV. The structure will be reforced thanks to an agreement with the Italian structure MTA in order to be in the Moto3 and ETC categories. The team will use the bikes that Jaume Masià and Andrea Migno have been riding during 2019 season with the Reale Avintia Racing Team liveries.

All this will help young talents who will be able to do some wild cards next year with the World Championship structure, alongside with Carlos Tatay’s technician Jarno Polastri, who has been working with Tito Rabat in MotoGP this year.

Polastri, who has a huge experience in MotoGP and WSBK, will be in charge of the Moto3 team’s leadership to turn it into a winning team dealing with sporting, technical and structural aspects to guarantee success and compete with at the best level.

Once again, the Reale Avintia Racing Team demonstrates its commitment to succeed not only in the top category but also at the base of the competition, in MotoE and in all the championships in which it is present.

Después del anuncio de la renovación y ampliación de contrato con Ducati y los dos triunfos en MotoE en el GP de la Comunitat Valenciana, al Reale Avintia Racing Team le complace anunciar su unión con el equipo italiano MTA, que cuenta con la dirección organizativa y deportiva del expiloto de 125cc y Moto3 Alessandro Tonucci, en el marco del FIM CEV.

El Reale Avintia Racing Team contará con Carlos Tatay en sus filas en el mundial de Moto3 en 2020 como ya anunció el equipo hace unos meses y ahora continuará apostando por las jóvenes promesas durante la próxima temporada dentro del FIM CEV. La estructura se reforzará gracias a un acuerdo con la estructura italiana del MTA para estar presentes en las categorías de Moto3 y ETC. Polastri que cuenta con una dilatada experiencia en MotoGP y WSBK se ocupará de la dirección del equipo de Moto3 para convertirlo en un equipo ganador ocupándose de los parámetros deportivos, técnicos y también a nivel estructural para tener una garantía de éxito y competir con los mejores.

Una vez más, el Reale Avintia Racing Team demuestra su interés y su empeño por triunfar no solo en la categoría máxima sino también en la base de la competición, en MotoE y en todos los campeonatos en los que está presente.

The Reale Avintia Arizona 77 rider brought his KTM inside the TOP15 in the GP de La Comunitat Valenciana held in Cheste that last race of the season held in the Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana.

Nepa performed a phenomenal comeback from 27^th in a race that was interrupted with red flag due to a multiple crash and it was reduced to 15 laps.

In the second start, Nepa managed to recover position and he even rode inside the Top10, keeping the big progression he is performing with the team in the last part of the season.

Finally, the Italian finished in 11^th place his last race with the Reale Avintia Arizona77.

“It was quite a difficult race, the conditions were thug, the track was so slippery but at the end it was not bad at all. After the bad QP from Saturday, I could fight in the second group for the Top10 and I finished 11^th. I’m disappointed because I believe it could have been better but can’t complain really. I must thank the whole Reale Avintia Team for giving me the chance to be back in the championship, to grow and show my potential. I also want to thank to my team: Luis, Jose, Jordi and Saul.”

El piloto del Reale Avintia Arizona 77 llevó su KTM al TOP15 en el GP de la Comunitat Valenciana celebrado en Cheste que pone punto final a la temporada 2019.

Nepa protagonizó una espectacular remontada desde la 27ª posición en una carrera que se vio interrumpida con la bandera roja en la segunda vuelta por una caída múltiple y se vio reducida a 15 vueltas.

En la segunda arrancada, Nepa comenzó a remontar posiciones hasta llegar a rodar dentro del Top10, siguiendo la gran progresión que ha llevado a cabo con el equipo durante en este tramo final de la temporada.

Finalmente, el italiano cerró en 11ª posición su última carrera con el Reale Avintia Arizona 77.

“Ha sido una carrera bastante complicada, con condiciones muy difíciles, la pista patinaba mucho, pero al final ha ido bastante bien. Después de la mala clasificación del sábado hemos podido a luchar en el segundo grupo y luchar por el Top10 y he acabado 11º. Me sabe mal porque creo que lo podíamos haber hecho un poco mejor pero así está bien. Debo dar las gracias a todo el equipo Reale Avintia por darme la posibilidad de volver al mundial, de crecer y mostrar mi potencial. También quiero agradecérselo a mi equipo: Luis, Jose, Jordi y Saul.”
