The Italian rider from the Reale Avintia Arizona 77 finished the Japanese GP out of the points by very little. Despite he recovered positions from the 21st of the gird, it was not enough to leave Motegi with more points.

Next week Stefano Nepa and the Reale Avintia Arizona 77 will get another chance to get a good result in the Australian GP from the October 25th to the 27th .

“It has been a good weekend. On Friday we did a step forward but I did not get in Q2 by little. On Saturday I felt good on the wet and today in the race I did a great comeback and I have even been in Top10. However, I did a mistake with 2 laps remaining and I lost 6 positions, a shame but we are happy with the performance. Next week we will race in Australia where we can do well and maybe we can be in the top for all race long. Thanks to the team, my family and the sponsors.”

El piloto italiano del Reale Avintia Arizona 77 ha finalizado el GP de Japón a escasas milésimas de las posiciones de puntos. A pesar de que remontó cinco puestos desde el 21º, no fue suficiente para salir de Motegi con más puntos en su casillero.

La semana que viene tanto Stefano Nepa como el Reale Avintia Arizona 77 tendrán otra nueva oportunidad para conseguir un buen resultado con motivo del GP de Australia del 25 al 27 de octubre.

“Ha sido un fin de semana bastante bueno. El viernes hicimos un gran paso pero por pocas milésimas no pasamos a la Q2. El sábado me sentí bien en mojado y hoy en la carrera hice una buena remontada y llegué a rodar en Top-10. Por desgracia hice un error en los últimos giros y perdí 6 posiciones, una pena los últimas dos vueltas pero estamos contentos con el rendimiento. La semana que viene corremos en Austrialia donde lo podemos hacer bien y esperamos estar delante toda la carrera. Gracias al equipo, a la familia y a los patrocinadores.”

After the phenomenal 8th place achieved back in Thai GP, the Reale Avintia Arizona 77 Italian rider arrives with high motivation in Motegi, where the first race of the overseas will be hold.

The rider and the team hope to keep the high level performed in the previous races and fight for the Top15 until the end of the year.

“We start the overseas, three races in a row. Now we are in Motegi, a track that I really like, narrow, with slow, flowing corner and hard braking points. I’m motivated after the great results in Thailand, the goal here is to make sure we are in good shape and we’ll try to make it better because we do have the potential to be in Top-10 in every session. It is important to keep focused and give our best all weekend long.”

Después del brillante octavo puesto conseguido en el anterior GP de Tailandia, el piloto italiano del Reale Avintia Arizona 77 llega con la moral alta a Motegi, donde se llevará a cabo la primera de las tres carreras que conformarán la gira asiática.

Tanto el piloto como el equipo esperan poder mantener el alto nivel demostrado en las últimas pruebas y luchar por posiciones de puntos regularmente hasta final de año.

“Comenzamos la gira con tres carreras seguidas. Ahora estamos en Motegi, una pista que me gusta mucho, técnica, estrecha, con curvas lentas y frenadas grandes. Estoy motivado después del gran resultado de Tailandia, el objetivo aquí es ratificar el buen estado de forma e intentar hacerlo aun mejor porque tenemos potencial para estar en el Top-10 en todas las sesiones. Es importante mantenernos concentrados y dar el 100% todo el fin de semana.”

The Reale Avintia Arizona 77’s Italian rider crossed the finish line in a brilliant 8th position in ThaiGP, achieving then his best result in the moto3 world championship as he improved the 11th from Misano.

Nepa rode most of the race with the front group inside the Top15 performing in a high level all race long. From the second part of the race on, the front riders fastened the pace and the group broke. Nepa found himself in a small group where he fought for Top10 positions until last lap.

The Italian rider will travel to the Japanese GP (October 18-20th) with high motivation to kick off three race weekends in a row.

“It’s been a very positive weekend, specially the race as it was the most beautiful so far. It was a hard race because of the heat and the conditions. Riding in such a big group is very difficult to manage it all but I keep strong there. Shame about a contact I had at mid race that make me lose the front guys but I’m very happy with the performance, I did not expect be on first group. Thanks to the team that always help me and never surrender. Now its time to keep in this way and be focused for Japanese GP. Thanks to the sponsor, to my family and all who help me”.

El piloto italiano del Reale Avintia Arizona 77 ha cruzado meta en una brillante 8ª posición en la carrera de Tailandia, consiguiendo así su mejor resultado en el Mundial de Moto3 al mejorar el 11º conseguido en la carrera de Misano.

Nepa ha rodado gran parte de la carrera con el grupo de cabeza dentro de las 15 primeras posiciones mostrando un alto nivel a lo largo de la prueba. A partir de la segunda mitad de carrera, los pilotos delanteros han aumentado el ritmo y el grupo se ha roto. Nepa se ha establecido en un reducido grupo de pilotos donde ha luchado por posiciones de Top10 hasta la última vuelta.

El italiano viajará con una gran motivación al GP de Japón, prueba que se disputará del 18 al 20 de este mes y que dará inicio a tres fines de semana de competición consecutivos.

“Ha sido un fin de semana muy positivo, sobre todo por la carrera ya que ha sido la más bonita hasta la fecha. Ha sido una carrera difícil por el calor y las condiciones. Rodando en un grupo tan grande es muy complicado gestionarlo todo pero me he mantenido ahí. Lástima de un toque que he tenido a mitad de carrera que me ha hecho perder el contacto con el grupo de cabeza pero estoy muy contento con el rendimiento, no me esperaba estar con el primer grupo. Gracias al equipo que siempre me ayuda y nunca se rinde. Ahora toca seguir en esta dirección y concentrarse para Japón. Gracias a los patrocinadores, a mi familia y a todos los que me ayudan.”

The motorcycling championship will hold the 15th round of the calendar this weekend in the Chang International Circuit (Thailand), the first out of four races that will be held during this year’s overseas races.

This will be the second time that MotoGP visits the Chang racetrack after its debut last year. The track has a length of 4.554km, 12 turns (5 to left and 7 to the right) and two long straights. It is placed 400km away from the capital of the country, Bangkok, really close to Buriram city.

The Moto3 race is set to 22 laps (100.2km) under high temperatures and humidity. The Reale Avintia Arizona 77 rider, Stefano Nepa, arrives in a circuit that is not new for him and with charged batteries after Aragon race where he did not manage to get in points as he did in Misano.

“We are ready por the race. It is a very fast track, full of long straights for Moto3, so the slipstream will be very important here. I’m really excited to start and I can’t wait to start working.”

El Mundial de Motociclismo disputará este fin de semana la 15ª prueba del campeonato en el Circuito Internacional de Chang (Tailandia), la primera de las cuatro carreras que conformarán la gira asiática de este 2019.

Esta será la segunda ocasión que MotoGP visite el trazado de Chang después de su debut en la competición el año pasado. El circuito tiene una longitud total de 4.554km, con un total de 12 curvas (5 a la izquierda y 7 a la derecha) y dos larguísimas rectas. Se encuentra situado a algo más de 400km de la capital del país, Bangkok, muy cerca de la ciudad de Buriram.

La carrera de Moto3 se disputará a un total de 22 giros (100.2km) bajo condiciones de altas temperaturas y un elevado nivel de humedad. Stefano Nepa, piloto del Reale Avintia Arizona 77, llega a un circuito que no es nuevo para él y con las baterías cargadas después de la carrera de Aragón en la que, a diferencia de Misano, no logró alcanzar las posiciones de puntos.

“Estamos listos para la carrera. Es un circuito muy rápido, con muchas rectas largas para la Moto3, con lo cual el rebufo será muy importante aquí. Tengo muchas ganas y no veo la hora de comenzar a trabajar.”

The Reale Avintia Arizona 77 team is pleased to announce the agreement reached with the lastest Spanish talent, Carlos Tatay, to race in the Moto3 World Championship the next two seasons.
With this agreement, Raúl Romero’s team, ensures one of the emerging talents of motorcycling, and his name was already in the wish list of several Moto3 World Championship teams. Carlos Tatay will complete his maiden Moto3 season in a structure with huge experience in the MotoGP World Championship, and will follow the footsteps of great riders such as Maverick Viñales, Tito Rabat, Scott Redding or Aleix Espargaró, who also made their debut in the championship with the Spanish team.
The 16 year old, Valencian rider is the 2019 Red Bull Rookies Cup Champion, following a superb dominating season, winning four races and achieving a total of nine podiums in ten rounds. Tatay won the title in Misano, with two races left to finish the championship.
In Misano he also signed the contract with Esponsorama to compete with KTM for the next two seasons and, as a prize, Tatay got a wild card entry with Andreas Pérez 77 Foundation team on last weekend Moto3 Aragon Grand Prix. In his second appearance in the World Championship, the Spanish rider qualified in front row and, on Sunday’s race, he fought his way in the leading group and eventually finished very close to the ‘Top 10’. A good sign of Tatay’s potential in Moto3.

El equipo Reale Avintia Arizona 77 tiene el placer de anunciar el acuerdo alcanzado con el jovencísimo Carlos Tatay, para disputar el Campeonato del Mundo de Moto3 las dos próximas temporadas. 

Con este acuerdo, la estructura de Raúl Romero, se hace uno de los talentos emergentes del motociclismo, que ya había despertado el interés de varios equipos mundialistas. Carlos Tatay disputará su primera temporada en una estructura de sobrada experiencia en el Campeonato del Mundo de MotoGP, y seguirá los pasos de grandes pilotos como Maverick Viñales, Tito Rabat, Scott Redding o Aleix Espargaró, que también llegaron al campeonato de la mano del equipo español. 

Con tan solo 16 años, el valenciano es el flamante Campeón de la Red Bull Rookies Cup, donde ha dominado con mano de hierro. Tatay ha logrado un total de nueve podios en diez carreras y, en cuatro, ha subido a los más alto del cajón. Con estos números se alzó con el título en Misano, a falta de dos pruebas para la conclusión del certamen. 

En Misano también firmó el contrato con Esponsorama para competir con KTM las dos próximas temporadas y, como premio, Tatay salió como invitado en el Gran Premio de Aragón de Moto3 disputado el fin de semana pasado, con el equipo de la Fundación Andreas Pérez 77. En su segunda aparición en el Mundial, el piloto de Alaquàs brilló el sábado, clasificando tercero para la carrera y, el domingo, rodó gran parte de la prueba en el grupo de cabeza para terminar muy cerca del ‘Top 10’. Un buen indicio del potencial de Tatay en Moto3.
