Reale Avintia Academy i Livio Loi han començat amb bon peu el Gran Premi de Qatar de Moto3, situant-se amb un temps de 2’07.329, a la tretzena posició de la classificació combinada de divendres.

El pilot belga s’ha centrat durant la primera jornada d’entrenaments lliures, en mirar els punts importants per poder evolucionar amb la seva KTM.
Livio es troba bastant satisfet amb el treball realitzat en el primer dia de Losail i confia en demà, per donar últim encaixada i sortir el diumenge dins de les deu primeres posicions en graella.

“El dia ha anat bé. Hem donat moltes voltes amb pneumàtics usats per veure en què podem millorar, perquè hem estat esforçant-nos en aquests punts. Hem estat intentant trobar la millor adherència amb pneumàtics usats. Al final he pogut fer un bon temps, però hem d’esperar als últims lliures de demà per fer un pas més. Després a la Qualifying cal empènyer prou per poder estar dins de les tres primeres línies de graella; això és un punt important per a la carrera.”

Reale Avintia Academy rider Livio Loi got started the first Grand Prix of the season in Qatar with really good feelings. Livio set a lap in with a good start, 2’07.329, and finished the day 13th in the combined time sheets on Friday.

The Belgian rider focused during the first day of free practice in the set-up of his KTM, in order to get the best tomorrow in qualifying.

Livio declared himself satisfied with the work done on the first day at Losail and relies on tomorrow, to push even harder and get the best position on the grid for Sunday race.

 

“The day was good. We did many laps on used tyres to see where we can improve, because we have been struggling with to find the grip in these conditions. In the end I was able to set a good lap time, but we have to wait for the last free practice tomorrow to go one step further. Then in qualifying I’ll have to push more to try to be within the first three lines of the grid; this will be an important point for the race.”

El piloto belga se ha centrado durante la primera jornada de entrenamientos libres, en mirar los puntos importantes para poder evolucionar con su KTM.

Livio se encuentra bastante satisfecho con el trabajo realizado en el primer día de Losail y confía en mañana, para dar último apretón y salir el domingo dentro de las diez primeras posiciones en parrilla.

 

“El día ha ido bien. Hemos dado muchas vueltas con neumáticos usados para ver en qué podemos mejorar, porque hemos estado esforzándonos en esos puntos. Hemos estado intentando encontrar la mejor adherencia con neumáticos usados. Al final he podido hacer un buen tiempo, pero tenemos que esperar a los últimos libres de mañana para dar un paso más. Después en la Qualifying hay que empujar bastante para poder estar dentro de las tres primeras líneas de parrilla; esto es un punto importante para la carrera”

Presentació – Reale Seguros (Madrid)

L’equip Reale Avintia Racing amb els seus pilots de MotoGP al capdavant, Tito Rabat i Xavier Simeon, ha presentat avui a la seu de Reale Seguros a Madrid el seu ambiciós projecte esportiu per a la temporada 2018. Un projecte que comença amb l’European Talent Cup, passant pel World Junior Cup FIM CEV de Moto3 i Moto2 i culmina en MotoGP, Reale Avintia Racing estarà present en totes les categories, de la base al cim, del motociclisme de velocitat.

La presentadora Ainhoa Arbizu ha estat l’encarregada de conduir l’acte que, també ha comptat amb la presència de la resta de pilots de l’equip. Al costat de Tito Rabat i Xavi Simeon, han pujat a l’escenari, el belga Livio Loi, que competirà en el Campionat del Món de Moto3 amb KTM, els nois del FIM CEV amb Vicente Pérez, Andreas Pérez i l’italià Andrea Cavaliere, a més dels petits de l’European Talent Cup amb Carlos Tatay, Adrían Huertas i Iker García Abella. No ha pogut assistir Barry Baltus en no poder saltar-se el col·legi i tampoc Xavi Cardelus, qui defensarà els colors de l’equip en el FIM CEV de Moto2 i participarà en diverses proves del Mundial de Moto2 aquesta temporada. No podia falta el propietari de l’escuderia Raúl Romero, així com els consellers delegats de Reale Seguros i el Grup Avintia, Ignacio Mariscal i Antonio Martín, que han acompanyat els pilots per desvetllar la nova decoració de les motos, les autèntiques protagonistes d’aquesta presentació.

“La presentació ha anat bé i la nova decoració de la moto és una passada. Ja estem preparats per començar el Mundial a Qatar la setmana que ve i no veig l’hora de començar els primers entrenaments lliures. En aquest equip em trobo a casa i des del primer moment m’ha agradat molt la meva Ducati GP17. Ara només toca esperar que s’apagui el semàfor vermell a Qatar”.

“La pretemporada ha anat molt bé i he pogut aprendre moltes coses de MotoGP gràcies a l’equip. La nova moto és molt bonica i la presentació de l’equip ha estat a l’altura del projecte. En uns dies ja estarem a Qatar sota els focus i llavors començarà el bo. L’important és que estem preparats per començar i donar molt gas”.

“Estic molt content per com ha anat la pretemporada. El temps no ens ha acompanyat tot el que ens hauria agradat, però crec que arribem preparats a Qatar. L’equip és molt professional i jo m’he adaptat bastant ràpid a la KTM. En uns dies veurem realment on som i fins on podem arribar”.

Team presentation – Reale Seguros (Madrid)

Reale Avintia Racing team presented its ambitious project today at the headquarters of Reale Seguros in Madrid. Reale Avintia project, has its edge in MotoGP with Tito Rabat, Xavi Simeon and Ducati, but this great project with the European Talent Cup, going through the Moto3 and Moto2 World Junior Cup FIM CEV and culminates in the premier class, MotoGP. Reale Avintia Racing will be present in all classes, from the base to the top, of road racing motorcycling.
The famous Spanish presenter Ainhoa Arbizu conducted the event, surrounded by the riders of all classes. Along with Tito Rabat and Xavi Simeon, the Belgian Livio Loi, who will compete in the Moto3 World Championship with KTM, the FIM CEV boys with Vicente Pérez, Andreas Pérez and the Italian Andrea Cavaliere, in addition to the of the European Talent Cup with Carlos Tatay, Adrían Huertas and Iker García Abella. Xavi Cardelus, who was not ale to attend as he was testing will defend the colours of the team in the FIM CEV Moto2 and will do in several Moto2 wild card entries during the season. “The presentation has gone well and the new livery of the bike is amazing. We are ready to start the World Championship in Qatar next week and I can’t wait to start the first free practice sessions. In this team I’m at home and from the first moment I really had good feelings riding my Ducati GP17. Now we just have to wait for the red light to go out in Qatar”.

“The preseason has gone very well and I have been able to learn many things about MotoGP thanks to the team. The new bike is beautiful and the team launch has been great. In a few days we will be in Qatar under the floodlights and then the serious part will begin. The important thing is that we are ready to start and give a lot of gas”.

“I’m very happy with how the winter testing has gone. The weather has not accompanied us as much as we would liked but, I think we arrived ready to Qatar. The team is very professional and I have adapted quite quickly to the KTM. In a few days we will really see where we are and how far we can go”.

El equipo Reale Avintia Racing con sus pilotos de MotoGP a la cabeza, Tito Rabat y Xavier Simeon, ha presentado hoy en la sede de Reale Seguros en Madrid su ambicioso proyecto deportivo para la temporada 2018. Un proyecto que comienza con la European Talent Cup, pasando por el World Junior Cup FIM CEV de Moto3 y Moto2 y culmina en MotoGP, Reale Avintia Racing estará presente en todas las categorías, de la base a la cima, del motociclismo de velocidad.

La presentadora Ainhoa Arbizu ha sido la encargada de conducir el acto que, también ha contado con la presencia del resto de pilotos del equipo. Junto a Tito Rabat y Xavi Simeon, han subido al escenario, el belga Livio Loi, que competirá en el Campeonato del Mundo de Moto3 con KTM, los chicos del FIM CEV con Vicente Pérez, Andreas Pérez y el italiano Andrea Cavaliere, además de los pequeños de la European Talent Cup con Carlos Tatay, Adrían Huertas e Iker García Abella. No ha podido asistir Barry Baltus al no poder saltarse el colegio y tampoco Xavi Cardelus, quien defenderá los colores del equipo en el FIM CEV de Moto2 y participará en varias pruebas del Mundial de Moto2 esta temporada. No podía falta el propietario de la escudería Raúl Romero, así como los Consejeros Delegados de Reale Seguros y el Grupo Avintia, Ignacio Mariscal y Antonio Martín, que han acompañado a los pilotos para develar la nueva decoración de las motos, las auténticas protagonistas de esta presentación.

“La presentación ha ido bien y la nueva decoración de la moto es una pasada. Ya estamos listos para empezar el Mundial en Qatar la próxima semana y no veo la hora de empezar los primeros entrenamientos libres. En este equipo me encuentro en casa y desde el primer momento me ha gustado mucho mi Ducati GP17. Ahora solo toca esperar a que se apague el semáforo rojo en Qatar”.

“La pretemporada ha ido muy bien y he podido aprender muchas cosas de MotoGP gracias al equipo. La nueva moto es muy bonita y la presentación del equipo ha estado a la altura del proyecto. En unos días ya estaremos en Qatar bajo los focos y entonces comenzará lo bueno. Lo importante es que estamos listos para empezar y dar mucho gas”.

“Estoy muy contento por cómo ha ido la pretemporada. El tiempo no nos ha acompañado todo lo que nos hubiera gustado, pero creo que llegamos preparados a Qatar. El equipo es muy profesional y yo me he adaptado bastante rápido a la KTM. En unos días veremos realmente dónde estamos y hasta dónde podemos llegar”.

IRTA Moto3 Test – Circuito de Jerez

Reale Avintia Academy team rider, Livio Loi, completed three succesful days of testing at the Jerez circuit in preparation for the first race on Sunday, March 18th in Qatar.
The weather has not been good in Jerez de la Frontera and Moto2 and Moto3 riders didn’t have enough dry time at the Spanish venue. Even so Livio Loi has made good use of the dry track time for and he also made some good steps in wet conditions. The Belgian rider finishes the test 10 in the combined times sheets after the three days, but more importante than the final position, is the work done with his team and the positive feelings with the bike.

Before heading to Qatar for the first race of the season, Livio will be tomorrow in Madrid for the launch of the of Reale Avintia projects in MotoGP World Championship, Moto3, FIM CEV Moto3 / Moto2 and European Talent Cup.

“I’m happy because it was a very positive test in both dry and wet conditions. Bad weather didn’t allowed us to work more, but we have made the most of the time in dry testing trying different things and we have found important information for the set-up of the bike. It was a very important test for this reason and I think the lap times, given the conditions of the track, have been quite good. We are ready to start in Qatar and everyone in the team is looking forward to the start of the championship”.

IRTA Moto3 Test – Circuito de Jerez

El pilot de l’equip Reale Avintia Academy, Livi Loi, ha completat tres dies de test al circuit de Jerez com preparatiu per a la primera carrera de l’any que tindrà lloc el proper diumenge 18 de març a Qatar.

El temps no ha acompanyat a Jerez de la Frontera i els pilots de Moto2 i Moto3 no han pogut estar en pista tot el que els hauria agradat. Així i Livi Loi ha aprofitat bé el temps en sec per i també en mullat. El pilot belga ha acabat en el Top 10 en la combinada de temps dels tres dies, però més que la posició, el més positiu dels entrenaments han estat les bones sensacions amb la moto i amb l’equip.

Abans de viatjar a Qatar per a la primera carrera de l’any, Livi passarà demà per Madrid per a la presentació dels projectes de Reale Avintia en el Campionat del Món de MotoGP, Moto3, FIM CEV Moto3 / Moto2 i European Talent Cup.

“Estic content perquè ha estat un test molt positiu tant en sec com en mullat. Llàstima que el temps no ens ha permès treballar més, però hem aprofitat el temps al màxim en sec provant moltes coses diferents i hem trobat coses importants amb la direcció que hem de preses amb la posada a punt de la moto. Ha estat un test molt important per aquest motiu i crec que els temps, donades les condicions de la pista, han estat força bons. Estem preparats per començar a Qatar i tots en l’equip tenim moltes ganes que arrenqui el campionat ”.

IRTA Moto3 Test – Circuito de Jerez

El piloto del equipo Reale Avintia Academy, Livio Loi, ha completado tres días de test en el circuito de Jerez como preparativo para la primera carrera del año que tendrá lugar el próximo domingo 18 de marzo en Qatar.

El tiempo no ha acompañado en Jerez de la Frontera y los pilotos de Moto2 y Moto3 no han podido estar en pista todo lo que les hubiera gustado. Aun así Livio Loi ha aprovechado bien el tiempo en seco para y también en mojado. El piloto belga ha terminado en el Top 10 en la combinada de tiempos de los tres días, pero más que la posición, lo más positivo de los entrenamientos han sido las buenas sensaciones con la moto y con el equipo.

Antes de viajar a Qatar para la primera carrera del año, Livio pasará mañana por Madrid para la presentación de los proyectos de Reale Avintia en el Campeonato del Mundo de MotoGP, Moto3, FIM CEV Moto3 / Moto2 y European Talent Cup.

“Estoy contento porque ha sido un test muy positivo tanto en seco como en mojado. Lástima que el tiempo no nos ha permitido trabajar más, pero hemos aprovechado el tiempo al máximo en seco probando muchas cosas diferentes y hemos encontrado cosas importantes con la dirección que tenemos que tomas con la puesta a punto de la moto. Ha sido un test muy importante por este motivo y creo que los tiempos, dadas las condiciones de la pista, han sido bastante buenos. Estamos listos para empezar en Qatar y todos en el equipo tenemos muchas ganas de que arranque el campeonato”.

14/02/18 IRTA Moto3 Test – Circuito de Jerez

Reale Avintia Academy rider Livio Loi finished a succesful three-day test today at Jerez circuit in Spain. During the test the team has been working close with KTM engenieers to adapt the bike settings to Loi’s needs and during the three days he has been able to test many different things on the bike with positive results.
Although its final position on the standings does not reflect it, the race pace has been very good and, just on the second day Livio went out in track searching a fast lap time. He has been working with race tyres almost all the test to gain rythym and confidence with the bike and, overall, it has been a very productive test in which the team has been able to get information to improve even more when they return to Jerez at the beginning of March.

“We’ve completed antother three days of testing in Jerez and I think we can be happy with the steps made from the first to the last day, we’ve been able to try many different things on the bike and we’ve done quite good times, but the best thing of these test it’s that I’ve been very consistent. Overall I’m satisfied, we still have to find a bit more grip on the rear, because that’s where we’re struggling more, but once we can solve it, I think we can be very strong and be in the front. We’re not far from the fastets riders here and we have done a great job. I am already looking forward to returning to Jerez for the last test of the preseason”.
