Avintia Esponsorama Moto3 and Avintia VR46 Academy have completed the Gran Premio Tissot de Aragón qualifying.

Antonelli will start the race at MotorLand Aragón 8th. The VR46 Academy rider got the direct access to Q2 after finishing 7th in the combined free practice times. His best qualifying time was 1:58.381.

Carlos Tatay will start from the 7th row of the grid. Unfortunately, the Valencian rider was unable to go through to Q2 after being affected by traffic on his fast laps during the session. Finally, Tatay will start 20th after a best lap time of 1:59.455.

Tomorrow at 11:00 the race of the Gran Premio Tissot de Aragón will start, where Antonelli and Tatay will fight to continue scoring important points for the team.

Antonelli arrancará la carrera en MotorLand Aragón 8º. El piloto de la VR46 Academy ha logrado el acceso directo a la Q2 al finalizar 7º en los tiempos combinados tras los entrenamientos libres. Su mejor tiempo en la clasificación ha sido 1:58.381.

Carlos Tatay partirá desde la 7ª línea de la parrilla de salida. Desafortunadamente, el valenciano no ha podido superar el corte de la Q1 después de verse afectado por el tráfico en sus vueltas rápidas durante la sesión. Finalmente, Tatay arrancará 20º tras marcar un registro de 1:59.455.

Mañana a las 11:00 dará comienzo la carrera del Gran Premio Tissot de Aragón, dónde Antonelli y Tatay lucharán para seguir sumando puntos importantes para el equipo.

Niccolò Antonelli ended the first day 8th in the combined free practice times with a best time of 1:59.218. The Italian rider was fast from the morning session, where he finished in 3rd position. In the second free practice, he set his best time.

Carlos Tatay continued to recover his feelings during the first day at MotorLand Aragón. The Avintia Esponsorama Moto3 rider was 20th fastest in the combined free practice times with a time of 1:59.825. Tomorrow, in the third free practice, Tatay will have another chance to achieve a time that will allow him the direct access to Q2.

Niccolò Antonelli ha cerrado el primer día 8º en la clasificación combinada con un mejor tiempo de 1:59.218. El piloto italiano se ha mostrado rápido desde la sesión matinal, dónde ha terminado en 3ª posición. En el segundo entrenamiento libre, ha logrado su mejor registro.

Carlos Tatay ha seguido recuperando sensaciones durante el primer día en MotorLand Aragón. El piloto del Avintia Esponsorama Moto3, ha sido el 20º más rápido en la clasificación combinada con un tiempo de 1:59.825. Mañana, en el tercer entrenamiento libre, Tatay tendrá otra oportunidad para lograr un registro que le permita el acceso directo a la Q2.

“Hoy ha ido bien. Estoy contento porque hemos hecho todo el trabajo que teníamos que hacer y hemos probado todo lo que teníamos que probar. De todas formas, mañana será difícil porque todos mejorarán, pero debemos intentar mantener un buen ritmo y seguro que daremos otro paso adelante.”

Niccolò Antonelli llega a España después de lograr una magnífica segunda posición en Silverstone. El piloto de la VR46 Academy se muestra motivado para afrontar un nuevo fin de semana y conseguir otro buen resultado que le permita seguir escalando posiciones en la clasificación.

Carlos Tatay, que cruzó la línea de meta en Silverstone en 10ª posición, aterriza en MotorLand Aragón con el objetivo de aprovechar su buen estado de forma y repetir otra buena actuación para seguir progresando.

Los pilotos de Moto3, tendrán su primera toma de contacto con el trazado aragonés este viernes a las 9:00 para disputar el primer entrenamiento libre del Gran Premio Tissot de Aragón.

“Llegamos muy motivados después de haber disfrutado durante el fin de semana en Silverstone. Pudimos dar un paso adelante y por fin estoy casi al 100% recuperado de mi lesión, así que creo que podremos hacer un buen papel en Aragón. Siempre ha sido un circuito donde he podido ir rápido, por lo que trabajaremos desde el principio para hacer un buen fin de semana y continuar con la progresión.”

“MotorLand Aragón es una pista que me gusta mucho, así que estoy feliz de volver aquí. El fin de semana en Silverstone fue especial porque hicimos un podio en condiciones que no eran óptimas, por lo que estoy muy contento. Aquí, intentaremos hacer un buen trabajo para mantenerme lo más arriba posible y luchar por el top 5 será el objetivo de este fin de semana.”

Avintia Esponsorama Moto3 and Avintia VR46 Academy finished the Monster Energy British Grand Prix after a spectacular race for the team, where Antonelli crossed the finish line 2nd and Carlos Tatay 10th.

Now it’s time to improve our weak points and continue our progress in Aragón.”

El Avintia Esponsorama Moto3 y el Avintia VR46 Academy han finalizado el Monster Energy British Grand Prix tras una espectacular carrera para el equipo, dónde Antonelli ha cruzado la línea de meta 2º y Carlos Tatay 10º.

Niccolò Antonelli, que arrancaba 5º, ha escalado hasta la 2ª posición en los primeros compases de la carrera. El piloto italiano ha sido capaz de imponer un gran ritmo junto a Romano Fenati, y ambos se han escapado del resto del grupo. Finalmente, Antonelli ha sumado 20 puntos muy valiosos, logrando así el segundo podio de la temporada tras el conseguido en el Gran Premio de Doha.

Carlos Tatay ha sumado 6 puntos más a su casillero. El piloto valenciano ha estado durante toda la carrera peleando por el 10º puesto en un amplio grupo formado por nueve pilotos. En las últimas vueltas, Tatay ha dado un golpe sobre la mesa, consiguiendo unas décimas de ventaja que le han permitido alzarse con una 10ª posición muy merecida.

Después de un fin de semana muy positivo para el equipo, el Avintia Esponsorama Moto3 y el Avintia VR46 Academy pondrán rumbo a MotorLand Aragón, dónde dentro de dos semanas se disputará el Gran Premio TISSOT de Aragón.

“Un fin de semana positivo ya qué por fin he vuelto a disfrutar encima de la moto. Después de la lesión sufrimos bastante, pero poco a poco hemos trabajado y hemos conseguido hacer un fin de semana, en general, positivo. En carrera sentía que tenía ritmo para estar en el primer grupo, pero un fallo en las primeras vueltas me ha privado de estar en esa lucha. Ahora toca mejorar nuestros puntos débiles y continuar con la progresión en Aragón.”

“Estoy muy feliz porque ha sido un podio increíble. Estoy contento, hemos hecho un gran trabajo con el equipo durante todo el fin de semana y nos merecemos esta segunda posición.”

“Ha sido un día positivo. Hemos conseguido pasar de la Q1 a la Q2, superando los problemas que hemos tenido durante el FP3. No ha sido mi mejor Q2, pero estamos listos para luchar en una carrera que creo que será muy rápida. Tendremos que hacer una buena salida, colocarnos bien y mantener un buen ritmo.”
