FINALIZA EL GP RED BULL DE ESPAÑA PARA LA CATEGORIA DE MOTOE. XAVIER CARDELÚS SUFRE UNA CAIDA SIN CONSECUENCIAS, ANDRÉ PIRES FINALIZA 12º

Jerez 2 de mayo 2021 – Finaliza el GP Red Bull de España para los pilotos de la categoría MotoE del equipo Avintia Esponsorama Racing . Xavier Cardelús ha sufrido una caída sin consecuencias en la quinta vuelta de carrera, lamentablemente después de las buenas sensaciones durante el fin de semana el piloto andorrano no ha podido puntuar en esta cita. André Pires ha finalizado en 12 º posición, el portugués sigue con su adaptación a la moto en lo que considera una aventura en esta nueva categoría para él.

“Ha sido una lastima empezar la temporada de esta manera, sobre todo por lo corto que es el campeonato. Aunque el grupo de cabeza se ha distanciado enseguida me sentía con fuerzas para luchas por el TOP 5. Ahora lo importante es concentrarse en la próxima carrera”.

“Estoy muy contento por haber podido terminar la carrera, ha sido mi primer Gran Premio y estaba muy nervioso. Mi objetivo era terminar y no rodar solo. Al final he rodado un poco más rápido. He visto que ha habido muchas caídas por lo que he decidido no arriesgar y finalizar. Agradezco a todo el equipo el gran trabajo y la ayuda que me prestan en todo momento”.

Jerez (Spain) 1 May 2021 – After the second day of the Spanish Red Bull GP, the Avintia Esponsorama Racing MotoE riders obtained positive results. Xavier Cardelús will start 8th while his teammate André Pires continues with his adaptation to the new category, starting 17th.

Jerez (España) 1 de Mayo  2021 – Finalizada la segunda jornada del GP Red Bull de España los pilotos del Avintia Esponsorama Racing team en la categoría de MotoE obtienen resultados positivos. Xavier Cardelús saldrá 8º mientras su compañero de equipo André Pires continua con su adaptación a la nueva categoría saliendo 17º

“Hoy ha sido un día muy complicado, no estoy habituado a este tipo de clasificación. No estoy satisfecho con la posición, pero mañana estoy seguro de que mejorare. Hacer una clasificación solo con una vuelta y después de una caída es complicado”.

PRIMERA JORNADA DE ENTRENAMIENTOS PARA LOS PILOTOS DEL AVINTIA ESPONSORAMA RACING EN LA CATEGORIA DE MOTOE

Jerez 30 de abril 2021 – El circuito de Jerez ha sido escenario de la primera jornada de entrenamientos libres en la categoría de MotoE. La primera carrera de la temporada tendrá lugar el próximo domingo donde lo pilotos del Avintia Esponsorama, podrán demostrar por primera vez los buenos resultados obtenidos en pretemporada. Xavier Cardelús ha terminado en 5º posición en la combinada con un tiempo de 1´48.956. Su compañero de equipo André Pires consigue la 16º posición marcando un tiempo de 1´50.644.

“Primer día positivo. La primera sección me la he tomado con calma ya que el finde semana pasado probé otra moto. En esta moto cuesta recuperar sensaciones. Ha sido una lastima que no haya podido hacer como quería mi vuelta rápida ya que otro piloto me ha molestado, creo que podría haber ido medio segundo más rápido. Estoy seguro de que mañana saldrán las cosas muy bien “.

“Estoy muy contento, he conseguido rodar junto al resto de pilotos y esto para mi es un avance muy positivo. Me estoy adaptando muy bien y me siento más cómodo con la moto. Quiero agradecer al equipo toda su ayuda en esta nueva etapa. Mañana lo intentare todo en la vuelta lanzada de clasificación, aún me cuesta gestionar el peso de la moto pero poco a poco iré progresando”.

FIRST RACE FOR MOTOE RIDERS OF AVINTIA ESPONSORAMA RACING ON THE ANGEL DE NIETO JEREZ CIRCUIT.

 Jerez (Spain) April 29, 2021 – Green light for the MOTOE category of Avintia Esponsorama Racing Team riders. Tomorrow will begin the first free practice of the Red Bull GP of Spain, the first race of the season for this category. After a very positive preseason with good results Xavier Cardelús arrives at the Jerez aiming to reach the top positions. André Pires continues his adaptation to the category with a progressive evolution that will allow him to improve on his debut.

“I look forward to start this first GP. The whole preseason has gone very well and this gives me a lot of confidence. Jerez is not one of my favourite circuits, although during the last tests I found a good adaptation to the bike. I hope to get a good result on Sunday.”

“I’m looking forward to compete in my first GP, for me it’s a dream come true. I’ve worked a lot physically and psychologically to be well prepared. I continue with the adaptation to the category and hopefully I will quickly be able to take the step forward that I need. My goal is to be faster to be able to follow other riders and, in this way, learn. I have to improve in the braking to be more competitive.“

PRIMERA CITA PARA LOS PILOTOS DE MOTOE DEL AVINTIA ESPONSORAMA RACING EN EL CIRCUITO DE JEREZ ANGEL DE NIETO

Jerez (España) 29 de abril 2021 – Luz verde para la categoría de MOTOE de los pilotos del Avintia Esponsorama Racing Team. Mañana darán comienzo lo primeros entrenamientos libres del GP Red Bull de España, el primero de la temporada para esta categoría. Xavier Cardelús, después de una pretemporada muy positiva en la que ha obtenido buenos resultados, llega al trazado jerezano con el objetivo de ocupar los primeros puestos. André Pires continúa su adaptación a la categoría con una evolución progresiva que le permita mejorar en su debut.

“Tengo muchísimas ganas de comenzar este primer GP. Toda la pretemporada ha ido muy bien, y esto me da mucha confianza. Jerez no es uno de mis circuitos favoritos, aunque durante los pasados test encontré una buena adaptación a la moto. Espero conseguir un buen resultado el domingo“.

“Estoy deseando competir en mi primer GP, para mí será un sueño hecho realidad. He trabajado mucho física y psicológicamente para estar bien preparado. Continúo con la adaptación a la categoría y espero que rápidamente sea capaz de dar ese paso que necesito. Mi objetivo es ser más rápido para poder seguir a otros pilotos, y de esta manera, aprender. Tengo que mejorar en las frenadas, pero espero que Jerez sea un punto de partida positivo “.

CONCLUYEN LOS TRES DIAS DE ENTRENAMIENTOS OFICIALES DE MOTOE  CON CARDELÚS TERCERO EN LA GENERAL.

Jerez 14 de Abril 2021 – La última jornada de entrenamientos de la categoría de MotoE ha destacado para el equipo por el tercer puesto logrado por Xavier Cardelús . Los pilotos del Avintia Esponsorama Racing han aprovechado al máximo el trazado Jerezano. Cardelús ha finalizado tercero en la combinada de los tres días, siendo uno de los más rápidos con un tiempo de 1:47.592. André Pires continua su evolución y adaptación a la moto marcando su mejor tiempo en 1:51.287.

“Termino el test muy contento, creo que todo el equipo hemos hecho un gran trabajo. Desde el primer día he sido rápido y nos hemos consolidado en nuestro sitio. El primer día sufrí una caída que me resto confianza, pero he sabido recuperarme. El resultado de los tres días es muy positivo y espero que se vea reflejado en carrera”.

“Han sido tres días muy importantes con evoluciones constantes, hemos mejorado mucho el set-up de la moto. Cada vez tengo más confianza, pero hay mucho que mejorar. El nivel es muy elevado y esto es muy positivo para el campeonato. La moto es muy pesada y por ello me cuesta llegar al punto bueno de frenada. En carrera tengo que atacar desde el inicio para luchar al máximo y poder adelantarme en la clasificación”.

Today begins the last test before the first Gran Prix of MotoE category that will take place next  May 2nd in Jerez Circuit. Avintia Esponsorama Racing Team riders continue to improve to achieve the best results.

“After a year of learning and getting to know the bike, I think this is the year of thinking about bigger goals. The work we have done here in preseason has been very positive, but that doesn’t mean everything stays the same or better. Today we must start from zero and work in the same way that we have done in the preseason. I really like the Jerez track and I’m ready to keep improving for the race.”

“I am very motivated; I want to start this new adventure. The first tests with the MotoE were very positive even though it was a new bike for me, the sensations are very good. In these second tests I already have more data, I am more comfortable with the bike and I am more confident that it is very important. I love fast corners on this circuit, it is not very technical, but I like it a lot. In this track,  I have more experience than others, so I have to take advantage of it.”

CONCLUDES THE FIRST DAY OF THE OFFICIAL MOTOE TESTS ON THE JEREZ CIRCUIT.

With exceptionally good sensations and positive performance, concludes the first day of MotoE Official Tests at the Jerez circuit.

A good experience for the riders of the Avintia Esponsorama Team, who have seen how after a long period of time without being able to test their bikes on the track, finally today they have been able to recover the sensations to develop the MotoE bikes.

The best lap of Xavier Cardelús was 1:49.734. His partner Andre Pires in his debut in the category made a total of 34 laps marking his best time at 1:52,351

This day will be followed by two more days of official tests in which good weather conditions are expected.

18 XAVIER CARDELÚS

“I’m happy to be able to get back on the bike after almost a year standing. The first sensations have been to remember how this bike is going. In general, I am very happy with how this first day has gone. There are still two more days left so, we have time. Jerez is a circuit that we are used to all who have been competing for years, personally I think it is a difficult circuit, but in short I am happy and the sensations of this first day are positive”.

“I am adapting very well after so long without riding, I really like the bike although it is totally different from other bikes. I really like this circuit; the whole team is doing an excellent job. I need to roll and spin to adapt and understand the bike more and more. It is my debut in this category and everything is new to me, the tires, the brakes, the power of the bike, today it has been my first contact and, in every way, it has been very positive.”
