Tras un gran final de temporada con dos excelentes victorias en la clase MotoE, el Reale Avintia Racing Team premiará al piloto brasileño Eric Granado dándole la oportunidad de subirse a la Ducati GP18 durante el test que se llevará a cabo esta semana en el circuito de Jerez.

Cabe recordar que, a pesar de un complicado inicio de año, Granado concluyó la primera temporada de MotoE en una meritoria tercera posición de la general, sobreponiéndose a las adversidades a las que ha tenido que enfrentarse a lo largo del año.

There is no rest for the MotoGP World Championship and less than 48 hours after the end of the 2019 season, the top riders were back on their motorcycles with the aim of preparing the 2020 season.

On the first test day, Tito Rabat and Karel Abraham tested the Ducati GP19 for the first time, the bike with which they will compete next season. Tito Rabat completed 53 laps finishing 15th with a time of 1’31,775, just over second and a half from the first position. Karel Abraham completed his first day on the GP19 in 19th position completing a total of 47 laps and setting a time of 1’32.034, +1.871” away of the reference.

Today. the Reale Avintia Racing Team riders have been able to continue with their adaptation to the GP19. Tito Rabat finished 12th, riding a total of 63 laps and set a best time of 1’31,258 +1,409 ” from of the best time. Rabat leaves Valencia satisfied with the work done in these two test days and the performance of the Ducati GP19. The Catalan rider hopes to continue improving the sensations in the next Jerez test to take a qualitative step for the 2020 season.

Karel Abraham, meanwhile, finished the second day of testing 17th setting a 1’31.597 at +1.748” from the reference.

Next week the Reale Avintia Racing Team will continue working towards the 2020 season during the tests that will be held next week at the Circuit de Jerez.

El Mundial de MotoGP no descansa y menos de 48h después del final de la temporada 2019, los pilotos de la máxima categoría volvieron a subirse ayer martes en sus motos con el objetivo de preparar la temporada 2020.

En la primera jornada de test, Tito Rabat y Karel Abraham probaron por primera vez las Ducati GP19 con las que competirán la próxima temporada. Tito Rabat completó un total de 53 giros acabando 15º con un tiempo de 1’31.775 a poco más de segundo y medio del primer clasificado. Karel Abraham completó su primera jornada a lomos de la GP19 en 19ª posición completando un total de 47 giros y marcando un mejor tiempo de 1’32.034 a +1.8” de la referencia.

Hoy miércoles los pilotos del Reale Avintia Racing Team han podido proseguir con su particular adaptación a la GP19. Tito Rabat acabó 12º, dio un total de 63 giros y estableció un mejor tiempo de 1’31.258 a +1.409” del mejor crono. Rabat se marcha de Valencia satisfecho con el trabajo realizado en estas dos jornadas de test y las prestaciones de la Ducati GP19. El piloto catalán espera poder seguir mejorando las sensaciones en el próximo test de Jerez para dar un paso cualitativo para la temporada 2020.

Karel Abraham, por su parte, finalizó la segunda jornada de test 17º con un mejor tiempo de 1’31.597 a una distancia de +1.748” de la referencia.

La próxima semana el Reale Avintia Racing Team seguirá trabajando de cara a la temporada 2020 durante los test que se celebrarán la próxima semana en el Circuito de Jerez.

After ending the season in the best way possible with the double victory in MotoE, the reale avintia racing team is glad to announce its contract renewal/extension for the following couple of season with Ducati Factory.

From now on, the structure will be a satellite team of the Italian manufacture and will have significant improvements that will allow the team do a step forward with the goal of being a reference team in the paddock.

The teams wants to use this press release to thank Reale, Avintia and Motul for its confidence in the structure during this long journey.

Después de cerrar la temporada de la mejor manera posible con la doble victoria en MotoE, al Reale Avintia Racing Team le complace anunciar su renovación/ampliación de contrato para las próximas dos temporadas con Ducati Factory.
La estructura pasará a ser un equipo satélite de la marca italiana y contará con mejoras significativas que permitirán al equipo dar otro salto de calidad con el objetivo de ser un equipo referente en el paddock.
El equipo quiere aprovechar el presente comunicado para agradecer a Reale, Avintia y Motul la confianza depositada en la estructura durante todo este tiempo en este largo viaje.

The GP de la Comunitat Valenciana, the 19th race of the champsionship, saw how the 2019  MotoGP season came to an end.

In the last race of the season, the Reale Avintia Racing Team riders, Tito Rabat and Karel Abraham, made a good performance with a comeback that it’s worthy to recognition as they ended the year in good shape when the Reale Avintia Racing Team celebrated its 20th aniversary.

On one hand, Tito Rabat, that started 18th, crossed the finish line for the last time this year 11th recovering 7 positions.

In the other hand, Karel Abraham, who started 21st, also recovered 7 positions to finish in a fantastic 14th position.

The 2019 season came is already finished, but 2020 is around the corner and the following Tuesday and Wednesday the preseason test will kick of in the Circuit de la Comunitat Valenciana – Ricardo Tormo with the aim to prepare next year.

“It’s good to get these 2 points after suffering some technical problems specially in the first corner, that made my lose a lot of time in the beginning. I lost positions and I had to push to arrive to the top riders. From there on, I made a lonely race, I gave my best but Lorenzo was too far in front and Shyarin was too far behind so it was a difficult race to manage but at least I got two points”.

“It was a good race in general, we got some points as we finished 11th so I am happy and eager to start working for the 2020 season”.

El GP de la Comunitat Valenciana, la 19ª prueba del campeonato ha puesto el punto final a la temporada 2019 de MotoGP.

En la última carrera del año, Tito Rabat y Karel Abraham, han protagonizado una gran actuación con remontadas dignas de reconcomiendo para concluir el año en forma justo en el 20 aniversario del Reale Avintia Racing Team.

Por una parte, Tito Rabat, que partía desde la 18ª posición, ha cruzado línea de meta por última vez este año 11º recuperando, por ende, 7 plazas.

Por otro lado, Karel Abraham, que partía 21º, también ha remontado 7 posiciones al finalizar la carrera en una fantástica 14ª posición.

La temporada 2019 ya ha llegado a su fin, pero la 2020 está a la vuelta de la esquina y los próximos martes y miércoles comenzarán los test de pretemporada en el Circuito de la Comunitat Valenciana – Ricardo Torno con el objetivo de preparar el siguiente curso.

“Ha sido una buena carrera en general, hemos podido puntuar al acabar 11º así que estoy contento y con ganas de comenzar a trabajar de cara a 2020”.

“Es bueno conseguir estos dos puntos después de haber sufrido unos problemas técnicos en las curvas y eso me ha hecho perder mucho tiempo sobre todo al comienzo. He perdido posiciones y he tenido que empujar para llegar a los pilotos de delante. A partir de ahí, he hecho una carrera en solitario, he dado lo mejor pero Lorenzo ya estaba demasiado lejos por delante y Shyarin estaba bastante retrasado así que ha sido una carrera difícil, pero me quedo con los dos puntos”.

After four races in Asia and Oceania in 6 weeks, the paddock returns to the old continent to close the season in the fourth race of the year on Spanish soil. From this Friday to Sunday, the nineteenth and final race of the 2019 season will be held at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Cheste (Valencia). As usual for years, the Valencian event will put an end to almost 10 months of competition in which The world championship has competed in 16 different countries.

The Circuit of the Valencian Community was completed in 1999 and held tests of the MotoGP Championship and Spanish Motorcycles already in the same year. The Cheste track has several designs, which run counterclockwise with different lengths. MotoGP races are carried out on a 4 km track consisting of five turns to the right, eight to the left and a straight of 876m. Although the track is considered quite small, the pit complex contains 48 garages, while the stadium-style grandstands can hold up to 150,000 spectators. The circuit design that allows you to see all parts of the track from any position and helps create a unique atmosphere that Spanish and international riders enjoy equally. Being the last race of the season there is always a party feeling in the Grand Prix, which was voted best GP of 2005 by IRTA.

Tito Rabat could not finish the races of Japan and Australia due to a hand injury and did not participate in the last Malaysian GP. Fortunately, the Barcelona rider will be present at the GP of the Valencian Community in a circuit in which he won in 2015 when he competed in Moto2 and that, in his last participation in MotoGP in 2017, managed to finish in the Top10.

Karel Abraham, on the other hand, will try to reverse Malaysia’s bad luck in a circuit that saw him win in 2010 in the first year of the Moto2 category in the world championship.

“I am looking forward to finishing the season in the best way possible in a big way in front of Spanish fans here in Valencia.”

“The one in Valencia is always a strange race because, on the one hand, we are all tired and wanting to have some time to disconnect and enjoy the winter. On the other hand, it is sad because it is the last race of the season. However, I want to run because I have good memories of this GP and, in fact, here I won a race in Moto2”.

Después de cuatro carreras por Asia y Oceanía en 6 semanas, el paddock regresa al viejo continente para cerrar la temporada en la cuarta carrera del año en suelo español. Desde este viernes hasta el domingo se disputará en el Circuito Ricardo Tormo de Cheste (Valencia) la decimonovena y última carrera de la temporada 2019. Como es habitual desde hace años, la cita valenciana pondrá punto final a casi 10 meses de competición en la que el campeonato del mundo ha competido en 16 países distintos.

El Circuito de la Comunitat Valenciana se completó en 1999 y celebró pruebas del Campeonato de MotoGP ya en ese mismo año. La pista de Cheste tiene varios diseños, que se corren en sentido antihorario con diferentes longitudes. Las carreras de MotoGP se llevan a cabo en una pista de 4 km que consta de cinco curvas a la derecha, ocho a la izquierda y una recta de 876m. Aunque la pista se considera bastante pequeña, el complejo de boxes contiene 48 garajes, mientras que las tribunas estilo estadio pueden albergar hasta 150,000 espectadores. El diseño del circuito que permite ver todas las partes de la pista desde cualquier puesto y ayuda a crear una atmósfera única que los pilotos españoles e internacionales disfrutan por igual. Al tratarse de la última carrera de la temporada siempre hay una sensación de fiesta en el Gran Premio, que fue votado mejor GP de 2005 por IRTA.

Tito Rabat no pudo finalizar las carreras de Japón y Australia debido a una lesión en la mano y no participó en el último GP de Malasia. Afortunadamente, el piloto barcelonense estará presente en el GP de la Comunitat Valenciana en un circuito en el que ganó en el año 2015 cuando competía en Moto2 y que, en su última participación en MotoGP en 2017, logró acabar dentro del Top10.

Karel Abraham, por otro lado, intentará revertir la mala suerte de Malasia en un circuito que le vio ganar en 2010 en el primer año de la categoría de Moto2 en el campeonato de mundo.

“Tengo ganas de acabar la temporada de la mejor manera posible por todo lo alto delante los fans españoles aquí en Valencia”.

“La de Valencia es siempre una carrera extraña porque, por un lado, estamos todos cansados y con ganas de tener algo de tiempo para desconectar y disfrutar del invierno. Por otro lado, es triste porque es la última carrera de la temporada. Sin embargo, tengo ganas de correr porque tengo buenos recuerdos de este GP y, de hecho, aquí gané una carrera en Moto2”.

The flyaway races came to an end today with the third and last race of them in the Sepang International Circuit where the Reale Avintia Racing Team did not have its best weekend.

On the one hand, Tito Rabat decided to miss the Gran Prix because of his injured right hand that has been suffering with before the Japanese GP so now he can start the rehab in his hand and arrive in Valencia in the best conditions. On the other hand, Karel Abraham, who started 16th, could not improve his position in a long race where the typical Malaysian heat and humidity where a key factor. The Czech rider crossed the finish line in 17th position and leaves the Malaysian race with no points.

The MotoGP world championship will arrive in Valencia in two weeks time for the 19th and last race of the 2019 season on the score of the Gran Premi de la Comunitat Valenciana.

“It is a shame because I believe we could have fight for the points, we had the pace, a good setup and we were ready. The start was not bad at all but next to me was Mika Kallio, he pushed me a little bit and I went last. The biggest problem was when I tried to overtake the riders and in the last corner Jorge Lorenzo pushed me to the right over the kerbs, I could not stop the bike and I had to go to the gravel and almost stop the bike so I lost a lot of time there. It was a nightmare race because I was racing against myself lap by lap trying to arrive to the riders in front but I just could not make it.”
